Right thing to do. New jeep and my son got a new car for his birthday. I don't even have room for 4 vehicles. I do want a ride in the hellcat however.

Just leather trim on the steering wheel. Wheels were turned when I parked it.

What's the farthest/shortest shot you've made.

Was that the bog boy in your avatar? I recall that. -
Who is doing spring clover?

Pines are also an indicator of acidic soil, but if its growing, I wouldn't worry about it. -

I was sighting in too many guns last season. Bad move that I never got to my primary shotgun. lol I guess it could be part senior moment too as I did think I got to them all. -

Did you go to the Biz school of marksmanship? That is a poke for us NE-ers. -

Nice. Surprised its growing so well. Ferns are usually a bad sign for growth in my experience. If I recall, its an indicator of highly acidic soil and little sun. -

At least with a gun, it was last year. I had a doe at 50yds, rested in a blind. Missed. Shot again, another clean miss. Then realized I may never have sighted in the scope on my 220 after swapping it over the summer. Thought I did but clearly it was way off. My daughter and I just watched her walk away. Lesson learned. Hunted with my ML rest of the gun season. I did sight in the 220 since then. -

The better question may be, what is the shortest shot you missed? lol -

Not really sure on shortest - under 10yds. Longest was around 240-250 but I did have to shoot twice as I cleaned missed first shot low then settled cross hairs on back. I really prefer shot under 100yds with the gun and under 30yds with the bow. Longest bow kill was between 30-35. -
And I thought I was the only one. Lol. Cmon deer season.

Congrats dad!

Few more pics. Just posted on Craigslist and the Raptor forum.

WNY deer are an accommodating bunch Grampy! Hope to see you back out here again this year!
-
I mostly assume the deer will cooperate and step in front of the arrow, whatever I am shooting.
-
You shoot well and should be confident.
-
And you have nothing to worry about because starting this year, like the rest of the trad bow hunters, you simply guess on where to aim. lol
-
Seems like the best of both worlds if you like shooting long range for fun. And honestly, if you were Biz and planned to shoot a deer at 80-100yds with ease, you will have plenty of time to make sure that 20yd pin is adjusted via the slider.
-
You had a great season already Lee! Those were some monster birds you killed here and in PA. Ha - just read you killed another!
-
So I assume you set the slider to 20 and you have 20, 30 40 pins. Then you set the slider to x and have longer distances but they will be closer in yardage gap like 50-60 70 (or whatever they work out since) you don't reset the 3 pins. Nevermind - I see how you plan to use it.
