  1. Wow Steve is the king of crap!
  2. You two need to get more familiar with whitetail poop. Lots of days counting pellets, picking it up, moving it around, tasting it. Make you a better hunter!
  3. That was a bit tougher.
  4. My 15yr old son just got 10 of 10 too. Hope that is indicative of his future SAT score.
  5. Must be geared towards simpletons Larry.

    Youth Bow

You will need to have his draw length measured and the bow set for it. Diamond is a good option. Look for a good shop in your area (not big box store).

    Youth Bow

Chris i give you lots of credit for searching for your son. Do you know the type of bow he wants, compound or traditional? Compound will need to be specific to his DL and at a weight he can handle. Likely requires him to be measured at a competent bow shop. There are several brands that can grow with him in draw length and weight. Diamond and Matthews are 2 such brands. Your general location may allow for some Archery shop recommendations. Single string traditional is easy to find a bow as they are not draw length specific. But they are harder to shoot accurately. A good bow shop can advise on this too. If you are near Rochester or Syracuse, I suggest talking to Mike at Heritage in Phelps NY. 315-828-6860. Good luck.
  8. Ain’t giving up just yet Dave. In fact, I am more motivated to train now. That said, it may just be my mind writing checks. I take some solace in knowing that I can still bench more than most NFL players. But I am guessing that the percentage catching me Is growing each year. Such is life.
  9. Good idea Bob. Cheap and easy to adjust.
  10. You are a true friend. Good news is that it really can’t affect my accuracy.
  11. Other than a bad knee, I haven’t felt my age was catching me. But this morning while training atlas stones, I started feeling it a bit. Usually 5 sets of 3 reps with my midweight Stone is reasonably easy, but today I thought I would toss a lung after set 2. Had to slow down to a rep a minute for the next 9. Maybe it has been my lack of intense workouts lately but I definitely have to kick it up a notch! Can’t give in to the age excuse! just complaining to no one in particular. Carry on while I catch my breath.
  12. Sorry Tacks. Not buying it. You don’t look old enough to have served in WW2. Nice try though.
  13. I am sure you read reviews Wooly but this one kills me: Had one of those wet & heavy snows and the top plastic piece broke. Might be okay if you are in an area that has the dry fluffy snow. Will be looking for a better option. By: TGPB Is this area a dry fluffy snow zone only? There was another complaint about the same thing.
  14. Wooly a piece of pvc cut to length will do the same thing for less than $30. Just supports the center so the roof doesn’t cave in.
  15. DiCaprio would make a horrible me! I am thinking Chuck Norris of 40 years ago!
  16. Oh I almost forgot to mention my little trip across the North Atlantic from Southamption to NYC. Lets just say, the ship didn't make it, but years later, the heart of the ocean blue diamond was recovered. Close call on that.
  17. That really is scary Wooly. Glad everything turned out OK! Not as scary as wooly's experience, but while I was working for the Rocky Mountain Fur trading Company, we were attacked by native americans, forcing me and my crew to move down the grand river in SD. Was then attacked by a Grizzly and left for dead. But I made may way back to Fort Kiowa in adverse conditions to later chase Fitzgerald to Nebraska. Quite an experience but all worked out in the end. Obviously living vicariously. I once sank knee deep in muck.
  18. Corn was in last year and you saw some of the photos. Kind of excited even though the biggest was killed by a car last year. There will be a new big player in the mix I bet.
  19. No kidding. I do have about a 1/3 acre of brassicas going in but not really needed.
  20. Just spoke with the farmer who owns the property adjacent to mine. Corn going in this year. Yay - we usually have great rut movement with corn in. Its my own personal 80 acre food plot. lol
  21. Yes its a good plan. I will just give up sleeping to ad another hobby!
  22. That is funny. I never bought a gun at a big box store. Biekirchs, Eurooptics, DD Ranch, used, victor pro guns. Never even realized that until you mentioned it.
