Well then you should have been rifle shopping on your BDay!
-
I have a Burris veracity and have compared it to both a zeiss hd5 and swaro z3 (both of which I also own). They are very comparable from a clarity/low light perspective. The burris is a ballistics reticle which I know some won't like (but Burris has a great calculator for it and it is FFP meaning is works at any magnification). Plus Burris has a great lifetime warranty. Its a great deal if one is in the market. The only thing I am not fond of regarding the burris scopes I own are the large turrets (not really needed in my opinion, especially with a ballistics reticle).

I suspect everyone's brackets stink. Question is who has the winner remaining. One whole side of the brackets no longer has a 1 or 2 seed left after first weekend. That's pretty crazy but fun.

Rifle spotting scope

Out to 200 you may be able to use your current binos and a doubler. -
10 boxes of ammo - never have less than 10 boxes for each gun on hand!
-
Burris is running a nice 2 for 1 deal on some of their scopes. They have that great lifetime warranty too. Just an FYI in case someone is looking.
-
They are a much better underdog. I remember them losing first round as a 2 seed. They make the sweet 16 or even win a national championship when no one expects it and crap out when there are high expectations. But always fun to watch.

SU baby. That was exciting but hate the fouling.
-
Yep 7lbs or slightly less is realistic. Run a light redot, standard weight 16” barrel and under 7lbs is easy. Even with a heavy fluted barrel and optics my ar10 is less than 8lbs I think.

Must have something wrong with him. Tine is growing in wrong direction. Poor guy. Cull buck!
-
Care to retract your statement. Lol

Happy Birthday Mr Pygmy. Hope you have a great one!

We have tough squirrels out this way. Not like Buffalo.

Learning it myself now. Installed my first mag limiter today. About as easy as opening and closing a bag of cookies. They are fun to play with for those of us that aren’t real gun saavy like wildcat.

For you buddy. Easier to show than explain. This is 2 uppers and 1 lower. Both uppers can attach to the lower via 2 pins and make a complete gun. Same lower is used for both a 223 (varmint upper top) and 458 socom (big bore bottom). One of the cool things about ARs. Someone said it to me yesterday. Like legos that go boom.

.223 for deer how far would you shoot a deer with one ?
moog5050 replied to Hunter007's topic in Deer Hunting
A break in your muzzle is evil. The compensator or brake just reduces recoil. -
That’s the Archery equivalent of a .22lr Tacks.
-
Because its a crazy long DL! Your arrow at 40lbs will be faster than most at 55lbs!
-
Yep, that will work. The axis 260 are also 34" at 11.5gpi but probably stiff for your DW (although maybe not with that freaking DL).
-
If you mean the axis 260, you will be closer to 650 with 200g head!
-
I don't think its needed. 450 is on the heavy end for most compound shooters anyways. I was more curious about anyone that shot crazy heavy arrows at some point.
-
But I bet your son is in the 700g plus range!

Happy Birthday Sir Moho!

Off topic, not hunting but man it's a fun hobby
moog5050 replied to burmjohn's topic in General Chit Chat
Not really. Based on my drone experience, you only crash once, look for it for hours and move on to the next hobby.
