  1. My bows and to some extent my rifles are my toys. I have way more than anyone needs to hunt. So I guess I like to try new things.
  2. Hey Rob, I picked up a new Deer slayer today too. Dpms gen 2 compact Hunter in 308. Got a good deal on a scope and needed a gun to go under it. Lol
  3. I would assume as long as you close your left eye you are OK. The problem comes in if you forget to close it and it takes over.
  4. Fortunate to typically take 5 deer a year and share with most that ask. Administrative assistant, landowner that gives us permission, co-workers, members of my church, family, barber and the list goes on. lol. My family probably eats 2 of the 5 and we still run out before season every year. Ok by me. Happy to share if we have it.
  5. Spent too much on bows - sleep on the floor.
  6. They do. You have to send in UPC codes and original receipt. Not sure why, but I won't give up my original receipt for a Tshirt.
  7. I have until 4/23 to build a platform blind at my property so that I can drive the field to drop off lunber before planting but I will go if I have that done. Need a nice dry weekend.
  8. Sounds like fun. Hmmmmm
  9. Like you he was aging gracefully!
  10. That's 1/2 of a full winter of snow for this area in only a few days. Hang in there!!
  11. Hang in there all you eastern NYers. Be safe!
  12. Traditional friendly or are many of the shots 35yds plus?
  13. I suspect both the speed and BC of the bullet make for that large difference.
  14. That's only a few hundred FPS faster than my 20g with a similar grain slug. Surprising.
  15. No doubt Zach has all the right stuff to be a primo athlete, including his positive attitude and genetics. Will text you later re workout stuff my friend.
  16. Oh Joel was out there with the snowblower!
  17. You mean everyone doesn't have a set of atlas stones in their basement?
  18. I didn't read this whole thread, but you do realize that property taxes do not pay for gas/electric?
  19. Doc I was really referring to a decline in peak performance. I still shouldered a 270lb cement stone 15 times yesterday which is pretty good at any age. But, its a little harder for me now than 10 years ago. That I will admit. My grandfather never paid attention to his age. I recall him picking up 90lb dumbells in my gym when he was 90 years old just to show me he could. He broke his age in golf at 91. And was still climbing trees to cut limbs in his late 80s. No doubt staying active kept him running at near full boar until he passed at almost 97 years old. I hope I can follow his lead for sure.
