NO... Two reasons the pet owners should be slapped on the spot! wouldnt of been to funny if it was a small kid instead. do you think the deer would of done any different? wasnt funny eitherway, the dog doesnt know any better but the owners should have... thats a good question, i wonder what would have happened if it was a small child. i wonder if the deer would have run from the beginning? If they wouldnt run i would assume the child would be hooved as well. eitherway, i would NOT let my dog near a deer and most certainly NOT my child...

I have only had a chance to shoot it at 15 yards cause its to dam cold to shoot out side, and love it. Thats why people are saying buy used for what just have to shop around for new if you want it bad. The only thing is it does not fit in alot of hard cases cause of its width, so had to order one from Mathews. the price of the bow is not the killer part and i agree, shop around you can find one for a good price. The bow dealers are not selling them the same price they buy them for. i am pretty sure there is room to negotiate. especially if a shop is not really moving bows. i bet one guy can buy a bow and another guy walk in right behind him buy the same bow and they might pay 2 different prices. flash some cash, i bet they will come down alittle in price for cash. may not be 100's but every little bit helps. high 7s seems right for a bare boned mathews, depending on the model. if your paying 900 for a bare boned mathews you might wanna shop around.

The limbs arent carbon fiber, they are dipped with a carbon fiber design. Not the same thing. The Hoyts have carbon fiber risers. thats pretty much what i said... i would be amused tho to actually see a truck drive over a carbon bow and see the bow shoot well after that. carbon is strong, its not that strong. ive had hoods and other car parts made of carbon, its a lite agent with nice durability in comparison to its weight, but its not extremely strong material. but then again bows were not designed to be driven over lol

wow just another thing to worry about... i used to never use rubber gloves but for the past few years have. not for sanitary or infectious reason, its just simply so my hands are not full of blood when i am thumbing through my pack. no other reason really, i save my water bottle for the drag back not to wash my hands

i mean we are talking a topic that there are many different views on Joe... QDM, what is the real "correct" way to practice it? and what does it benefit? Dont answer it, because you will probobly come up with so many different input on it. some wrong, some right. But unless you really "KNOW" your deer herd. believe there is a good read in Febuary's issue of field and stream, i was reading it last night...

i think nutrition and obviously gentetics has alot to do with antler growth... I mean if a deer is not living past a year and half then that buck sporting decent size head gear will not happen, because hes dead... but if that deer happens to not have access to enough forage during the important months then that deer will have a hard time consuming the nutrients, minerals and protien inorder to support the growth of a nice rack.i believe you are what you eat and its just that simple, that same term applies to the deer herd. however it is possible due to genetics and and abundance of forage a 1.5 old deer can have a decent rack also... Studies show in areas where there are mature deer they may never have a nice size rack due to food supply/protien and nutrients. If that 4 1/2 old deer is not getting a adequate food supply then the odds of that deer growing a nice rack soley on age alone is slim to none...
