  2. Hmmm it sounds like a bear hunt coming on G man? LOL
  3. guess i got some reading to do here to catch up! LOL
  4. IMO thats not a bad price complete
  5. yeah it is crazy... i paid 1400 back in 05 for my Switchback XT fully loaded, with a release... 780 was for the bow i believe. the extras add up quick lol
  6. the Z7 tactical has carbon, its filmed dipped limbs what ever that means....
  7. ehh well over the years you condition your body to cope with tree climbing and stalking, walking long distances with gear and so on. i know when i first started my body was not able to hand with the other guys and i didnt know the know hows and what not, as i do now. And i would assume it gets better with age? lol
  8. im glad i stayed out of that thread lol ill jump in it to hit 100 tho
  9. Im pretty sure the Carbon Matrix is in the $1500 range bare. The Carbon Element is a few hundred less. You are talking about carbon fiber bows that you can run over with a truck and still use though, not a high priced single cam bow like the Mathews. I wouldnt pay over $600 for ANY bow, Id rather go on AT and buy one with 30 shots through it for alot less, but Im a tightwad lol. Wow i did not think they were THAT expensive... 1500 bare bove, carbon fiber or not that bow better talk to me and make me dinner... you can get those high price mathews you speak of in carbon as well and single cam aside they prob shoot faster then the hoyt or equal to for a solo cam...
  10. only a few carry that price tag but they do have the safari that is prob over 2k. i know the price tags on the website say high 900 but through the dealer they are not that much... unless i had the money and didnt mind spending tha tmuch id wait a few months and buy one for that price but setup and used...
  11. my dad is 55 and shimmies up a tree like no other...
  12. going to get out soon and scope out a few places i hunted last season and try to iron out a nice tree for a climber...
  13. i have a good amount of biologic maximum seed in the garage with no real place to put them in... lol i used to do a few food plots a year but last year was the first time i didnt due to my buddy getting a divorce and me not going back to his place to put them in. i hunted alot on the island and have no real place to put one in out here unless you lease or own the land...
  14. What!? Hoyts can be 1200 bare bones? thats crazy... and they say Mathews are to expensive? most mathews ive seen have a sticker price of high 7s to high 8s bare bones depending on the model...
  15. you ever yell at one and had him stick around and not run off?
  16. i forgot i started this thread... yeah i have to look into it but like i said, im still pumped to take a bear with the bow. you can hunt state land for bear up there?
  17. yeah there are many variables that come into play at that point... i think mine took about 4 months when my cousin did mine and it came out mint and still looks mint to this day. so i dont think the 6 month rule applies every situation.
  18. was that 1000 for the setup or just the bow?
  19. Geno C
