yeah i hear that... 400 ares is a nice peice of land. never had venison in a cast iron pan but bacon and eggs in it for sure! Is it a pain to be partners on property with someone rather then to have the land yourself? Ive been watching the marcket and looking into getting some land myself, i would be happy with 50 acres. So many properties, really just trying to weigh some out. From what i hear theres nothing like owning your own land. I own a house on Long ISland and its sad you really dont even feel like you own it. taxes are crazy and you need permission to cut a tree down. what polotics lol...

I know of people who have killed deer with 35# compounds. And back in the olden times, a 45# recurve was considered adequate to do the job. With the kinds of poundages we are talking, I doubt that either bow or crossbow would have a problem with enough energy at 100 yards. I'm sure we will be finding out because there's no doubt that some people will try it. Taylor Drury killed a nice buck with her Bow ( PSE Chaos) and it was set at 30 lbs...

when do some tend to go shed hunting? febuary march? any advice for those who have never set off in search for sheds?

i dont think christiananity has anything to do with nor dealing with high class people. you said it yourself, you are not defending this video nor enjoy it for yourself correct? The lack of respect for the sport and the animal is the real issue here. I get it, the guy may have harvested his first deer, great. Carrying on like an idiot on camera on the web is stupid, plain and simple. Maybe he did put a head shot on the deer and put the doe out easy, thats fine and im pretty sure the guys here dont have an issue with that nearly as much as the 2 carried on and out in the video. the video was poor judged and should have been kept for private show and tell not for others to critique. but when you come across a guy or in this case guys doing something stupid "On Film", you tend to get all sort of reactions....

sounds like some good memories... i wish i had something lke that with my family. my dad would always tell me stories about the property my grandfather owned, i belive it was 60 acres but it was their old stomping grounds and where my dad first started hunting and harvested his first buck. after he sold the property i guess in the late 70s ealry 80s they hunted private land of a buddy in onionta and that is where my memories of shooting my first gun and sitting on stand with my dad began. its really what got me into deer hunting, i remember specific deer and parts of the timber from when i was 4, its really werid actually lol. But all great memories lol

hard to ask guys about spots they hunt... even if they said yes or no could you beleive it? i think guys would like to think that not many guys hunt the public land they do and would deter people from hunting a spot if they could. If anyone said yes its great hunting over there, you can expect monkey see monkey do and have people flocking to that spot lol.

Sad, would have been nice to hold on to considering your family hunted it for along time and to keep it in the family. ever go there when you were little?
