  3. Sat the am... Stood for first hour... Sat down to relax. And catch up on forums.... Read a page look around.... In the middle of reading I heard a crunch and a doe came through at 50 yards not stopping.... Stood for another 30mins after that looking for a chasing buck. No dice.. Got down at 9 and moved my stand towards where the action has been. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  4. Have alot of them in oneida County. They have been roosting along the west Canada for almost 10 years... Started out as just one. Now there is about 6 I believe Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  5. I'm looking to make the switch to hang on for next season.. Any recomendations for a big guy? 6'3 260 size 14 boots. I really don't want my toes hanging off. Priced around 100$ Weight doesn't matter as I will treat them like ladder stands. Just that they will be easier to move should I have too. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  6. Would u say that on average deer are coming or going from bedding areas in the morning? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

  9. Buddy was winded by a buck around 830 this morning. Had I been in my stand instead of bed he would have passed upwind of me Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  10. So I decided to sleep this morning and blew off the morning hunt....... Doesn't my buddy have a nice buck come through parallel to him, catch his scent and bounce...... Had I been in the stand I had planned on hunting that morning... He would have come by me upwind..... Just my luck. Sitting my crab tree blind for the rest of the day. 12. And old rub has been reopened in the last 2 days. And a new rub has opened on another trail.... Community scrape has been hit as well... Still no sightings Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  13. No dice this morning..... Swear I heard a grunt as I was packing up... Stopped and grunted back. Peeking out the window. No noise no nothing waited for 15 minutes... Got. Out of the blind and broke off a couple branches in the way of an arrow... Noticed a rub about 30yards out that was dead is recently active again. Scrape had activity. And on the way out I noticed a run I haven't seen before and sure enough a fresh rub on it. In same direction I heard the grunt from...... Gonna stay outta the blind till gun opener. Hit up the climber over that new run tomorrow afternoon. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

  18. I'm digging my ameristep hub blind... It's a 3 person one. Regularly 140ish. Caught on clearance at wally world last year after season for 75$. Definitely going to pick up a few more... Work good for cover/thick areas. And with the three man I can draw my 30in draw bow. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  19. Nolts do the Watson? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks for the check in guys... It's appreciated. Good to know I'm not the only one Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  21. Insert them on ladders. And would on hangons as well... To my knowledge you don't need to use a tree strap as well. So you can stay connected at all times..... I use a partial lifeline for my climber... It's about 3-4foot long. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah access to the line and interior woods would be from withing the woods. Typically downwind. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  23. So I'm debating trying to find a tree at the edge of a massive 5-6foot tall grass field.... Tracked a deer we found blood from a neighbor must have shot the other day. Didn't find it. But did find this huge network of trails and large beds in this area we have never touched of the property.... Also some rubs in some crab tree clumps we tracked through. Is it worth it to try and find a tree at the edge the woodline of this bedding area with one of the highways in range for rifle? Or should I just try and find a tree well inside the woodline looking over a trail coming in from the field? Problem is there is about 10 good trails in current use from the field into the woods. I was thinking a tree om the edge where I would have a shot onto one of the highways. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah it's been rough for sure... Going sat morn. Then pulling cams. Been about a week since last pull I'm hoping for some new racks. As the ones I had disappeared. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  25. I love my lifelines. Couldn't hunt without one due to the sense of security and peace of mind. Wife appreciates that I use them too. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
