Looks like a Photoshopped to me,, 4 to 5 inches of bone showing and the deers exposed leg meat is still not healed and looks fresh... Im not buying in...

Or maybe anyone that was going to use a crossbow during archery season has already taken the course...

Well if they are not the same why isn’t it in gun season ... I hear crickets and doors slamming..

Because I can’t wear a glove with my release and its cold during late gun season..

Because I like the fact that it allows me to hunt in certain spots that I can’t gun hunt during gun season was the reason I first purchased it..

Moog I have been hunting with a compound bow since 1992 I don’t feel it’s difficult, challenging compared to a gun but not difficult,, it was very difficult the first ten years or so,, now more like second nature.. Ive only hunted with a crossbow a few years and I find it not to be Easy as you state,, as Im still learning and growing with it.. Different tool but same rules apply in the field,, the crossbow is front heavy, difficult to shoot off hand, and the horizontal limbs add challenges for stands,, so for you to say its easy just because you think so,,, seems a bit silly to me..

Is a release not a trigger?

Many moons ago when I was a teenager my next door neighbor shot a doe during gun season that had an aluminum Easton straight through both eyes pretty much dead center with the shaft broke off on each side of its head, I always wondered how long that poor deer was walking around like that.. Thats a great buck and unusual find,, Im always impressed by the stuff you fuys find, I have found a fee in my lifetime bit not on a regular basis..

Its one thing to have an opinion but you just go WAY overboard.. Congratulations you are definitely in the lead IMO for pot stirrer of the year ...

Why in the world would a hunter that has a choice in his state with what to hunt with during archery season lie about what weapon he used to take an animal... Really...

Full inclusion will come in the coming years the two week season just gets crossbows in the hands of hunters and as more hunters buy and use them the tension and newness will wear off and eventually it will become a normal part of deer season,,, of course thats my opinion and thats how I see it progressing... Change can be difficult for some..

Why does it matter to you the reason??? We all are different and if it s legal why judge or pretend you have some power to cast some judgement over someone for how they believe...

I hunt for a mature buck during bow season and very rarely shoot does during this season,, I will also take a 1 1/2 buck late in bow season if I have the opportunity,,, what is the difference what I take it with a compound or a crossbow, I still have only one buck tag..

Full inclusion, I for one would like to have the choice...

Well if I where in a room with 30 people I know which gun I would rather put up a fight against,, after 5 shots I may have my opportunity,, insted of dropping a clip and having 30 more in seconds.. How about you ??? and Im not against these guns my son has one and his concelled carry as well.. I question the accessibility of it to people that shouldn’t own even a BB gun..
