i saw one the other night while driving and thought i was nuts, and was like no way i have seen them in March but damn maybe i wasnt seeing things!

you get 2 doe tags and 2 either sex tags in zones 11 and 12 in CT. They are hunting zone 11 i believe. And you get replacement tags on all the doe and once you check 3 doe heads in you will get an "Earn a Buck" tag. I understand that not all hunters eat the venison, and to each is own as long as its not rotting. I know i keep the majority of what i take. I obviously give the landowners whatever they want if they would like any, lets face it with them i would not be hunting. I think there is plenty of food that could be donated and there is no need to kill animals just for fun and give them away. I have hunted in CT where they hunt and believe me there is nowhere near the numbers they say. I have had places where i could easily see 20 deer an afternoon in the past and now im lucky if i see 1 or 2. People are silly they spend millions on a house hundreds of thousands on landscapes and say kill all the deer cuz they eat them flowers when all they would have to do is spray the plants with a deer repellant that cost fractions of what they have already spent and the deer would not eat them. EDIT...i like that they want hunters to thin the deer out because i get a lot of permissions because of it, but i think it may be going too far and the numbers are nowhere near what they were.

the show is beyond staged, and gives hunters a bad name. These guys are a bunch of clowns, that buck the young kid shot was a dink. And they are "after big bucks" blah blah they aint getting big when you shoot lil 2 year olds. These clowns should stay in VT, it seems like a rich kid who couldn't get it together to make it down in the wealthy environment he grew up in and moved up to VT and wants to come back down and make easy money with the show i bet his rich parents put this together for him. I think they way they talk about him feeding the ppl BS to get spots is bad for all of us. Makes all us hunters trying to get permission sound like a bunch of used car salesmen. I hate it and they have no respect for laws, walking through ppls property saying omg i can see what they are eating...that will make people feel a bit on edge knowing "hunters" (absolute clowns) are walking through their land with weapons and peeking in windows.

virgil you love defending these people. What he said is true a .223 or 5.56 round will go through a wall, but almost any round will go through a wall without a problem. he is such a joke i cant take him seriously!!

how could anyone even joke about shooting a dog?!?!?!? never mind actually doing it. I had a 140's class buck at 55 yds last season and the neighbors dogs went crazy and scared the buck off before i could get a shot, thats part of hunting. If i ever saw someone shoot a pet dog they would have 2 broken legs and have a long crawl back to the truck.

i don't really see the difference between crossbows and bows. I am 100% compound and stick bow hunter, but I do own a crossbow(never shot a deer with it). I can shoot my compound out to 50 yds all day with 2-3 inch groups. and don't tell me there is not a bow hunter here that hasn't missed a shot. With a reg bow u can nock another arrow and most times get another crack at a deer....good luck doing that with n Xbow. I wish they would spend more time going after poachers than debating between allowing xbows or not. And I now n days i would discard muzzle loaders as a primitive weapon. you can kill at 100+ yds all day....that is a different level IMO. I can honestly say in all my years of hunting 90% have been under 25 yds, I dont think an xbow will make too much of a difference in archery season. I have killed deer with a gun but nothing come close to the thrill of bow hunting.

i am sure you could but it is a never ending money pit, in the big picture it may be more cost efficient to buy a new cam and an SD card. I looked on Amazon and they have plenty. Check it out and see if its what you are looking for.

they are your morals... and I and i am sure others here respect them. BUT once again they are YOUR morals, no need to push them upon others. You are Catholic, and up until days ago the head figure of your religion has had ties to child molestation, so maybe just maybe someone can argue your "catholic morals" may be a bit off. I went to catholic collage and never had a problem, in no way am I saying all Catholics are bad Im just looking at it from the other side. I do not know you at all, and I would be willing to put my life on the line and say that you do not condone the alleged behavior of Pope Benedict. We live in a country that allows it's citizens to practice any religion they choose. You choose the Catholic religion and thats great but why is that "more great" than say Satanism, which may lead to a different set of morals. EDIT*** My point here is that one religion should not effect the laws in a country where there is separation between church and state and where all citizens have the freedom to choose what religion they would like to practice

have you ever thought that its being more selfless, than selfish? Like I have said before an abortion takes a toll on woman. Do you really think everyone who gets an abortion just forgets about it the next day. Its mentally crushing and takes a physical toll as well. Do you disagree that there are woman and couples out there that have thought it through and realized they may not capable to provide the child with a life worth living and it leads to their choice for an abortion? AND live with that choice every day!...I am not saying everyone but you anti's and lumping these people all together and it is wrong. To think that people who choose the path to an abortion are just using it as a way to dodge the "inconvenience" is ludicrous.

We are for the most part all adults here, and know what it takes to provide for a child. Do you really think all the people in this country are willing/able to do that for their kids. I think there should be financial requirements for parents planning to have children. AND a tax increase, not cut! I never understood why the people who cost he government more got tax cuts. As far as the border goes, wether or not you would like to admit it we need those people here. I would be willing to bet when you need work done on your house you same people who hate these "border jumpers" and quick to hire them. BECAUSE the cost is most likely less than half that it would be for a legal American company who is registered, insured, and everything else that comes along with it. All illegal things aside no man should tell a woman what she can n can not do with her body If betty choose to abort the fetus, she will live with the consequences. If it leads to a break up im sure it would have been talked about. You guys make it like its so easy to either have a child or get an abortion. Morhers die during birth, and in some cases woman whochoose to have an abortion are no longer able to have children after the procedure. People make it like its this easy thing women choose to do then go out and are ready for round two. I will stand by the womans choice she is at risk she carries the baby and she has to deliver it.

Among other things rape is one of the major factors, there are states that want all rape victims to keep the child so it can be used as evidince, and an abortion would be tampering with it. Personaly i think if a woman is raped and she would like to get an anortion she ahould be able to. Thats it And to ants if a woman who was mentally challenged was impregnated, depending on how bad her mental state it could be considered rape. And l am not saying to abort all babies i have tons of respect for women who get preg unexpectedly and choose to keep the baby and give it a good life. But i support the choice and i do not think anyone should be telling a woman or even a girl what they can and cannot do with their body.
