cart is great...you do not mess up the hide, its so much easier than dragging even if u come to a wall just pick the deer up over the wall and out it back on the cart. And if there are walls u can go around them with the cart its easy u can go a few hundred yds out of your way around a wall and still take half the time and a quarter of the energy. last year i forgot my cart and had to drag a big ol doe up a hill that normally takes me 10 min with the cart and i was there for like an hour or more just using the brute force method. Id honestly walk 100 yds to get the cart for a 30 yd drag if i had to, its just so nice and easy.

get the mask....i have a few swamps i like to hunt early and the bugs are bad i use a beanie and a mesh face cover with an opening for your eyes... and on the other spots with no or little bugs i just wear a beanie. when the weather is warm you have plenty of cover, if you pick a good spot u should not have to worry about 6x6 area of skin showing. on the ground it may be a bit harder...but brush yourself in too. i doubt you want to kill every deer you see, so make sure they cant see you. the early season is great to catch a big boy still in the summer pattern but trust me u shoot one early be ready to spend the majority of your sleep time that night skinning and quartering it so the meat stays good. make sure u have a big cooler and a place to dress them out...or a butcher thats open late! The biggest thing i can tell you as someone starting to hunt early in CT is to stay on the edges!!!! If i have a beast im after i will make the move but other spots in CT i hunt the edges and use the early start as more of scouting and keeping tabs on what trails and food sources they are using. if you just go in gung-hoe especially to a new spot that has not had any pressure you will spook them. I hope u put a few down early and good luck with the new spot bro.

i could be wrong but i thought you could only hunt with the xbow in jan in zones 11 and 12. and yes you have a chance at a buck in velvet in sept. last year i had a 4.5 year old 8 that had velvet untill the last week of sept. and throughout the years i have seen plenty in full velvet during the first 2 weeks of the season. all i can say is hunt the wind if its not right and you go you will ruin that spot. find different ways to walk in and out or u will get patterned fast. early season i like to hunt staging areas in the afternoon, and i almost never hunt the mornings...cant see them walking in and dont want to spook them that early in the season. i know plenty of ppl who hunt from the ground but i hate it. even if you go 10 or 12 ft you are much better for a scent control guy like yourself why would u ever want to leave so much scent in their home sitting on the ground??!?!?!?!?!?! they can smell where u walk nevermind where you sit for hours.

bring your bow to a pro shop have them tune it and buy arrows... all the exact same brand spine length and fletchings. Then get the same field points and shoot away. 25 grains will make a difference. Shoot carbons they are either perfect or broken... and a 2 year old can tell the difference.

Then when you come across the number figure the taxes smokers and tabacco comps pay and subtract it. I have a feeling you may be eating your words. And if you truly care about the cost of your taxes why not fix the problem and make everyone go to work and pay into it. I am also wondering what you do for a living and how much money you really pay to taxes, then who you hire... Do you hire legit companies to work for you or illegal companies and pay them wadges they could barly live on and have to reach to the gov for support. I know this is way off topic but you are the one who wants to not pay so much cuz the choices of other look at the whole picture my friend and dont be so quick to point the fingure at someone else.

my girl sent me that pic the other day. I hate when people make comments like you should quit ur guna die. I KNOW ITS BAD FOR ME, had some fat old lady make a comment the other day i told her i choose to smoke u choose to eat mcdonalds, I dont walk up to fat slobs and tell them to eat salad why do these people find it necessary to tell me to quit smoking. If everyone quit smoking in this country the taxes would go through the roof! PA last year got almost $900 million dollars in taxes from cigs last year. I say everyone should smoke!!!

the key to a good lawn is timing and good soil. To keep a great lawn u need like 8 inches of good topsiol. And remember when u put conventional fertilizer down it depletes the organics in the lawn and once a year you should put organic fert on the lawn to replenish it. And dont over water it, or water at night. Watering should be done right at sunup if you can. Geno the lawn looks great.

I hate to hear stories like this. I feel for you it drives me nuts to hear about people not paying their employees. I dont care who it is they are wrong. i heard a story the other day abt a landscaping comp in westchester where the boss was screwing the workers and one guy actually went after him and hit him with a shovel and he is paralyzed from the neck down....hahahahaha karma is a B! Id just say u need the money or you are out...working at McDonalds for 7 bucks an hour and getting paid is better then working for 100 an hour and not getting your check. Not for nothing all these cops talk about how dangerous theor job is and thats why they should make what they do and be able to retire after 25 years then when it all unfolds its a huge shocker. I feel bad for the cops but isnt that what they signed up for crazy bad guys breaking the law.

I wnat to know what happened to the Saudi guy that they had in custody at the hospital. One thing i saw said a bystander tackled him because he saw him doing aomething fishy. And that he was at the hospital being watched by security. And then the saudi air force one plane came and picked him up. Im not a a total disbeliever in the govt. but it wouldnt shock me if this was just pawned off on to radicals like these brothers to cover for some crazy terrorist Obama runs with.

The one thing I can take from the events last night and today thats away from the obvious is the shoot out that killed the older brother. Our brilliant state leaders feel you do not need more then 7 bullets to protect yourself, and they had a trained professionals shooting at the two suspects who fired a lot more then 7 rounds and could not stop the 2 brothers. If the team of skilled marksmen could not kill 2 kids with hundreds of bullets at hand how can people logically say u dont need more then 7 to protect yourself?!?!?! WNY I agree it will cost millions to put him on trial and us dopes are going to be paying for it.
