    hey guys. need a few thoughts on hunting this afternoon. hourly weather forcast i see is calling for clouds all day & no rain til 7 oclock hour. do you think deer will be up moving around late this afternoon or do you think they will already be in bedding areas because rain is coming just after dark? saw 2 bucks this morning before 8:15. nothing since. just wondering if i should sit longer than i was going to and not come back later today?

    i saw this on here yesterday. stopped at town building about 10:30 am. she looked on computer and said they were not out yet. did anybody get one yesterday??

    that is one heck of a deal though. dont see them in the dicks flyer for this week in the syracuse area

    always stick with the f127rs. can get box if 10 (f127rsx) for like $8 at walmart. i have found they work best in my guns

    Heard a bunch of sirens this morning while i was home. hopped on computer a short while after to check out morning news. lysander hunter hsd fallen from tree stand. was hanging by safety harness and called 911. who knows what would have happened if he didnt have it on. i now know where the emergency crews with sirens were going.

    My wife bought me a cva wolf for x-mas last year. havent hunted with it yet but have been to the range 3 or 4 times to shoot it. i love it. using powerbelt 245 gr aerotip bullets & imr white hots powder. cleaning isnt that bad if you have the right stuff. watch the cva videos on there web site. very helpful & informative. good luck & enjoy

    id like to see you tell the dec to pound salt. that would be funny. like i said though, my buddy got a ticket for shooting a deer before "sunrise". hunting hours are sunrise to sunset as defined by the hunting regs book, pg80. that is in black & white

    In your hunting regulations book there is a sunrise & sunset chart. if you are in the woods before or after those times with a loaded weapon it is illegal. i have a buddy who got a ticket a few years ago on opening day of southern zone gun seasonfor taking a deer before "sunrise". "sunrise" in the area we were hunting according to the chart was like 7:02 or something. he shot deer at like 6:50. he got a ticket. that chart was what dec officer used. he was nice though. let my buddy keep his 8 pointer
