  1. How about "girls on trampolines"? Do it Larry, do it!
  2. Yea, the right bird on the right day makes for a quick hunt.
  3. I think I'm lousy.........I can't run a box call for beans. Slate, ehhhh. Horseshoe is my huckleberry and I'm hit or miss with that.
  4. I believe this is the same pocket holster Pygmy uses. I’ll throw it in to jazz up the deal.......
  5. I have “small revolvers” covered with my S&W 37 and 342. Had the 37 since 1985 or so and it’s been everywhere with me. Due to the exposed hammer it stays in an ankle holster. The 342 is pocket carry. Dont need the 642 anymore.
  6. No worries from me at all Dom, I love this banter. Helps with exposure to the sale item.....TF is close to making it his. :)
  7. I’d agree, this picture shows nothing.
  8. Oh it's there my pesky little friend. It's called a "concealed hammer", designed to facilitate quick draws from a pocket carry as there's no hammer spur to snag on your pocket. Now I know you are a "Bugle Boy" jeans type guy and I guess it just might not work so well with those "City" jeans.........but if you'd like to step up another level; I'll send this to your FFL and while it's en-route, pick up some Wranglers and you'll be heading the right direction. Maybe THEN you'll get your 8pt'r this fall.

    Holy Crap!!!

I just cut long then nip a little off till she fits. If they're short, 2x4's and 1x3 are cheap............ Congrats on the great buck MoHo, he's a dandy!
  10. Tommy Two Tones........banned after one last performance:
  11. NFW!!!!! Give 'em the key to the City..............................
  12. This is a great deal for a local buyer. Sweet pocket carry revolver; no lock and stainless steel. What's NOT to like here?
  13. That you Stormy? JHC, do you understand the success ratio between gun and bow? Do you understand that many of the areas that they are killing deer would not be conducive to an arrowed deer going 100 yards before succumbing to a well placed lung shot? These deer are baited in and shot under the cover of darkness when most people are sleeping or in their abode. The police have specialized vehicles to support the operation and multiple deer are killed at the same time and processed accordingly. How many deer do you really think archers are going to take in a season compared to the above?
  14. Good heavens you've NEVER made so much sense!!
  15. Val....with a south/southeast wind it’s easy to here them at Maple and Hopkins. My home turf growing up....
  16. Private shooting club right there. South side of Sheridan, across from Main Transit substation. Trap/skeet for members of Buffalo Country Club.
  17. Shooting for accuracy starts at the bench..... What is your setup? After that the rifle, scope, rings/bases and ammo need to be up to snuff. Are they? Ammo?
  18. You obviously don't know the Town Of Amherst and the areas that they are shooting in. I'm sure that the suppressed rifles are being used in some areas that are in very close proximity to occupied homes that there'd be no way civilian hunters could do that with long guns. This discussion could go on for quite awhile, have at it. Happy Sunday, I'm outta here.
  19. When you were 3 years old and you got your first haircut, did you think it would last all these years? How about your car, do you ever change your oil? Mow your lawn? I'm sure you get it........
  20. 30 years ago in a cut corn field where North Rockingham Way is now, I rode my Honda Big Red 3 wheeler with a buddy looking for shed horns. I had binoculars with me and as we rode up to the edge of this field we stopped and counted over 100 deer, 27 of them were carrying antlers. The deer were out of control and something had to be done. Sure, it wasn't their fault but ours, humans. Nobody will argue that. The cry for bow hunters is always heard; at the time there was no way they (myself included) could begin to put any kind of a dent in the problem. At first the farmers were issued permits that were very effective but then the police got heavily involved and that's when the population was reduced to manageable numbers. Each winter the police employ their tactics to keep the numbers in check. It'd be great if the Town of Amherst would let bow hunters assist in keeping the numbers in check but they aren't interested in that. That's unfortunate........
  21. Do you understand no one got hurt? Hundreds of rounds have been shot without hitting homes or businesses. They do this in areas VERY close to homes and businesses with great success in reducing the deer population. Maybe you missed the 25 years that this has been going on? Accidents happen in every profession.
