  1. I opened this link ready to fight about politics and gun control etc. thank you!! We all need to slow down and love God's creation.
  2. I truely believe if we put God and Country back into our schools it would make a difference. Also stop the open door BS! If you come here, practice what WE preach! God and Country! I can't stand working hard and getting less when people who don't get more! Pisses me off!
  3. What is it these days and the rises of senseless violence! Teens killing a WWII Vet, no motive. Teens killing A Baseball player because they were board! I don't understand humanity or society anymore. It's the decline of civilization!
  4. $0.10 a round seems to be the going price. I won't be shooting my .22's for a while it seems. Redonculous !
  5. An arrow would work fine! That's if you can draw back...I had the feavor last season and it took me three tries to draw back my bow. It was comical.
  6. Thanks, I'm in the Colonie Area. I could probably take care of most of it once its dropped, but its a lot of tree.
  7. Does anyone do or know a respectably tree removal service who would be will to trade their service for a rifle and some cash? I got an estimate last year for around $1200 or so which I just cant afford. I can trade a Weatherby Mark V, synthetic, 1996-98 6 Lug, American Made 7mm-08 and a little cash. I need one decent size maple removed and two locus trees on my neighbors property trimmed. Thanks.
  8. I use my 870 12 ga for both turkey and deer hunting. Last year I was using an EoTech 520 holographic sight. I loved in a the range, impressive accuracy. It cost me a nice 6 pointer when I forgot to turn it on. LMAO. It didn't last long......
  9. Electric meat grinder and food saver vacuum sealer.
  10. There has been discussions lately regarding the legality of 870's and likeness. Apparently there is concussion , add in a ported choke which could be seen as a muzzle break.... Who knows!!!
  11. Did you know? Phil (the father) was the starting QB for Lousianna ahead of Terry Bradshaw! He was also drafted by the NFL as a Junior. He declined the draft because it conflicted with the hunting season. HUH go figure.
  12. I use the NAP Quick Fletch Twisters... love them.
  13. Look we can all speculate about the new Bill. I'm more interested what will get my ass in a sling! I don't struts anyone...
  14. the intent of the bill was NOT to include manually operated weapons like the 870. The SAFE ACT site even qualifies 870's and their likeness legal. It has also been pointed out to me that the site is NOT legal information, just a tool. So take it for what it's worth. However, as it has been pointed out (I have not read it yet) there are provisions in the act specific to magazines both detachable and fixed tube, capacity and potential capacity that could render 870's and likeness illegal. I believe this summarizes most of the recent conversation.
  15. But the bill also says it does not apply to "Manually Operated" firearms. Correct?
  16. Like I said, go to the sight, they list by MFG acceptable shotguns. http://www.governor.ny.gov/assets/documents/Shotguns_thatareNOTclassifiedasassaultweapons.pdf
