Nuisance permits are a horrible thing! Just a waste. Not very keen on the idea but people filling tags just to donate a food pantry. Better, but still uneasy about it.

It's obviously to small to bury anything in. I would tend to think it is more like a feed troth with some sort of attractant, like "Deer Cane". Or maybe bait and poison for Coyotes.

This is a redundant post..... so sorry about that. But, Has anyone recently, post SAFE Act, successfully had their pistol permit amended from "Sportsman_Limited use Hunting/Target" to concealed carry? Specifically Albany County.

HUH? The weather was worst I can remember ever. The damn wind was horrible almost every sit, not just direction but 25 mph or better consistently. 20 deg temperature swings every other day, cold damp snow squall Saturday to 60 deg Sunday, this past Saturday Fog so thick visibility was 30 yards at best. As mentioned in another post, I seen dear all bow season, but the number of dear seen was way way down.

I can't gauge this season from previous, but the last two seasons prior I seen more chasing in the middle of December than any other season I could think of. That's in 4A. Strange season to say the lease for me. I was seeing bucks consistently the last 3 weeks of bow season, however only one young spike was showing signs of the rut... then poof they vanished.

Same in 4A, have seen a deer all gun season.

Who has some tricks to staying warm? No interested in the typical stuff, Layers, Hard and Toe Warmers, Trying not to Sweat..... Who has unusual but useful ways of staying warm at the 5+ hour mark. When it's 25-30 deg or colder I'm having a hard time making it past 3-4 hours. My routine is dressing as lite as possible until heading into the woods. I even wear sneakers and change my socks until I'm ready to head into the woods.

You would be better off calling the "Parks and Recreation" office for said Town. More than likely the Town Clerk won't know how to answer you and direct you to another office. I had a similar question this fall during goose season. As for written permission, don't hold your breath....

4A dead again! Some shots way off in the distance but nothing close. I haven't seen a deer in the woods dice the last weekend of bow! Frustrating! -
