Fairly busy weekend of baseball, one game tomorrow and 2 Sunday, where else would I want to be than a ball field on father’s day! Hopefully he keeps is hitting momentum going. He’s been practicing his ass off. I should count the swings per week, It would be a freaking crap ton!

Son had an awesome game tonight. He’s s been on a real tear swinging the bat so far. He went 3-4 with a double and 5 RBI’s and now has the highest batting avg on the team. Fingers crossed he can keep this confidence going!! Had a great out field catch in foul territory, he really had to leg it out to make the play!

My kid fortunately doesn’t pitch often and I am 10000% A ok with it!!

Not sure why anyone would sign up for it. Other states are wide open with no bullshit restrictions. Not sure why anyone would feed into this state and follow along with it. Jm 2 cents

Today was a fun. We were up 18-0 in the first game (top of the 3rd) them the coaches decided to start the game over and play 4 inning. This game was way better and we won on a walk off double. Sons hitting really well so far, went 3 for 3, one hit could have been a triple but he held up at 2nd, had a walk and hbp. He increased his batting avg to just under 600 and is 2nd best on the team. 8th grader is just ahead. After an hr ride home he insisted we go the the local fields so he could hit more ball until dark. Yes I’m exhausted!!

Dude when the kids are 7-12 yrs old, move them around 100%. Kids that are now teenagers and have played baseball for many yrs need to understand you have to earn things now. Watching routine ground balls go between the 3rd baseman’s legs is ridiculous at this point. Btw I’m relaxed thanks

So the mod season is over as of almost 2 weeks ago. Its kind of a joke imo, large roster, equal playing time, kids playing positions they have no business playing!! 13u team is up and running. Played 4 games and won 3. Heading to Lancaster today to play the hawks which our coach said is a strong team!! Somehow the coach put him in the 9th spot in the batting order (he is the 2nd youngest player on the team) my wife and i kinda scratched out head on that one but don't say anything of course. Well coach texted the boys the line up for today and he moved our kid to 5th, as he has the 2nd best batting avg. Hopefully he will continue getting hits!

My yards looking decent. Love the ferris thus far, it kinda reminds me of a carnival ride its so fun! Lots of work to do still and not a ton of time to do it! The flag pole red put in is fantastic and is a real statement piece!!

Well his team lost in the semifinals. Team went into Sunday 3-0. The challenge with weekend tournaments is having enough pitching for all 3 days. Usually by Sunday you have had to use most if not all of your good pitchers and Sunday was no different. Saturday my son pitched 3 innings 8k’s, 1 hit and zero walks. Sunday in the first inning the starting pitcher had given up a run and then loaded the bases with no outs and they put my son back in. 2 more runs came in unearned that inning but did well getting out of the jam. His hitting was ok, he’s making contact at every at bat, but he has been gets on top of the ball a lot, he’s off by just a smidgen, basically he hits the ball and it hits the ground out in front of home plate and then goes flying as he hits the hell out of it. One at bat it hit the ground then the ball flew into the outfield. So we’re working towards getting this fixed somehow:-(.

Im with gman. Cory with future Forrest did a great job for us. He marked a ton of junk trees for removal. Id also suggest leaving the tops!!
