Well son had a walk and single Tuesday, yesterday had 1 at bat and had a rare strikeout. I cant remember the last time he struck out. Mod has been just what I expected, 18 man roster, 16 play each game and they rotate. Its EOB ( equal opportunity baseball) still, tons of errors, not playing the best kids all the time. This is why I enjoy travel ball much more! Were off to a tourney in Buffalo for his 12u team!

Sorry to hear Larry. My advice is to do what you think is right, our last vet was an asshole. We had a 19yr old cat that was very tired and it was easy to see it was time and the vet made me feel like a dick for putting him down. Our dog last yr was no different, he wanted me to send her to Cornell for 5-7k in surgeries. I spoke with a different vet and they said the opposite. I guess my point is you will know when its time. I gave my lab a days worth of food and desserts before the end!

Seasons going well so far! I think he’s 6 games in so far, 2 rec league games, 1 13u, 2 12u games and 3 mod games. He has a perfect on base % for mod so far and im not sure the last time he struck out, its been a long time. Mod games tomorrow, Thursday and Sat plus he’s playing with the 12u team in a tournament in Buffalo so its gonna be a wild weekend with some back and forth travel and we cant wait!

We are knee deep in ball. He’s playing rec/town ball and modified. Mod is the same schedule as rec ball so he’s only played 2 games for them. Tuesday was the first mod game and Ben was 3rd in the batting order in between a bunch of 8th graders. Had a walk and a single with a rbi. Team has 18 kids so after the 3rd inning subs started. Seems as though the coach has taken a real liking to him so far as yesterday he had a brief team meeting with 2 8th graders and Ben yesterday. Since he’s young for his grade he can play on his 13u travel or the 12u travel team. Last weekend he played a dh for the 12u team and we’re heading to a tournament in Buffalo next weekend with them!

My sons been calling her Georgee, and we’ve been calling her Georgia! My dads been amazed how easy she has been so far, that’s normal how it goes with us as were easy going.

Well shes an absolute gem of a girl!!

So the chaos starts tomorrow!! Puppy training starts tomorrow and I believe my dad will be discharged from the hospital and will be staying with us the next 4-6 weeks while he recovers post surgery so this should be fun. I feel like the next month is gonna be a sitcom. Lord help me :-)

Not to much, my wife seems pretty set on Georgia May but will see after she arrives. I named the last 2 dogs so I guess I might not win this one. We’re going to pick her up tomorrow so that’s exciting!!
