  1. check out mint.com allows you to load all your accounts that are web accessible. You can monitor bills, transactions, fees etc all from one site or app.
  2. no annual fees. I end up spending about $3k a month because we use the card for everything we can that doesn't require a bank account. That's over $700 a year...
  3. I know what you mean, but the paranoia level here is a little high. They really don't care about you unless you're also visiting a bunch of radical websites. And chances are you're then smart enough to hide your trail...
  4. i'll add one cool thing about my citi card that i believes applies to any citi card. You can track your purchases that you make with the card. It searches for better prices over the next 60 days. You have to go in and load in your purchase with an attached receipt, so I only do it for large purchases. However if they find a lower price from any vendor over the next 60 days they give you the difference back. I'm not sure how they make money off this, other than it's a benefit for cardholders. I have $270 in 2 years. https://www.citipricerewind.com/
  5. This is where you're wrong. they only pay sales tax. Statistically many do not own a home and they're illegal so they do not pay income tax. Meanwhile they enjoy all the benefits that I do, and usually more benefits such as free college tuition. How you can explain that away is confusing to me. Wouldn't you want them to enter legally and be documented? Why do they get a pass for sneaking in while those who are trying to legally become a citizen sit and wait?
  6. i'm with you on that. but i dont see how it ever effects me. I'm a proponent of equality for all and there are still too many assholes out there. If this is a talking point, fine. I generally wont hear much about it and don't see how it'll ever effect me. But yeah the constant shoving it in the face is getting old. Like ok, we're all good with homosexuals, now we're dipping into this gender fluid, non-binary, cis this and that stuff that is getting a little confusing if not absurd.
  7. I agree with the last 3. Interesting that he didn't mention that him and his cronies are now the highest paid in the country... I'll also never understand why illegal immigrants can go to school for free, meanwhile I'm paying over $6k a year in school taxes...
  8. Year of bucks and no doe for me. Did well in all seasons. Generally met my goals sans a goal of a late season doe that I wasn't able to harvest. I didn't have to hunt to the point where I was stressed or felt obligated which was great too, past seasons I've been pushed to this and that's really not what hunting should be about for me. I saw a lot of nice bucks and luckily had opportunities to pass a bunch of 1.5's and 2.5's. What was strange was that I really didn't see many flat heads in the woods even though the cams were loaded with them. First year in almost 20 seasons that I think I can say that. Of all my nearly 30 sits I was never busted which is also a first for me and something I'm really proud of. I did have 2 doe slowly back out when something just wasn't right, but I was never stomped or blown at. Low point for me was rushing a shot at a doe at 60 yards with the rifle and pushing through some brush resulting in a clean miss. I'm happy it was a clean miss, but disappointed as that was deer #3 that I wanted for the freezer. Non harvesting related the weather was pretty shitty this year. I did see some cool animals and deer activity that was a first for me. Also had some good woods therapy during a time when my grandfather passed that I am extremely grateful for.
  9. you're misinformed. They just need any "card" to be able to bill you and track you down. They generally put a hold on the card, so if your cc is maxed or your debit balance is low it'll fail either way, it's only being able to come after you for collections, which they can do just as easy with a debit and in fact your bank most likely will pay the overdraft.
  10. I have a pretty good system using some CVA products for my muzzleloader and I tend to use bore snakes and basic hoppes products for my other firearms. I generally don't abuse my firearms or shoot a ton, however I'm always looking for something better. Reading about some all-in-one products like break free clp and ballistol that seem very popular and wondering what yall think. Almost every firearm I own is "modern".
  11. another great point. If shit hit the fan, I think I have over 40k in available balance that I could burn through before I disappear to Mexico
  12. You should have a cc even if you only use it once a year to keep it open. having the ability to borrow and not is great for your credit, plus another factor is credit history. You want some older, longer lasting accounts to show credit history. My go to that the wife and I use for just about every purchase is the citi double cash. 1% when I buy and 1% when I pay. Do our best to pay it off every month and usually do. And for the months we've not been able to, the 2% more than covers the interest charge. And if you're going to take advice from strangers on the net, it's important to know who you're talking to. So, I will add that my current score as of last week is 760 (excellent). I have a car loan, lease, mortgage, and 3 cards. 1 of those cards is only open still because it's really old and helps support my credit history average time. They don't want you opening too many new credit lines either, but when you buy a car or lease it's a new line, so keep the old ones open to smooth things out.
  13. i have a roomba 900. runs 3 days a week. Def need to empty the bin everytime and it doesnt take the place of a deep clean, but does a great job of keeping my house with a golden retriever and 3 boys under 6 somewhat presentable. The unknown side effect that it also created which is worth the price alone is that it forces the kids to pickup or else it'll "eat their toys". Best birthday present for the wife ever.
  14. you can get your wife a little something, even if it's practical or something not practical that is cheap but fun without breaking the bank. It's really not that big a deal.
  15. bought a whole bunch of lingerie and yoga pants. Plus new tires on the explorer, which isn't really a gift but still cost a shit ton.
  16. only when I'm not posing with little button bucks the size of my dog.
  17. not my reputation, the reputation of those organs and glands with regards to taste, texture, smell etc.
  18. Had a doe come in directly downwind following my approach in the 20+ winds, she didn’t spook but didn’t like it and backed out. So ends a pretty good year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I wonder what an animal thinks when it hears a flock of 60 Canadian geese flying overhead for the first time in its life. Because to me it sounds like a train of death approaching. Imagine being a fawn and being like wtf is that!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I should rephrase. The early, unspooked, daytime deer bow season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Took today off for one last hurrah. Changed to a half day after a dismal forecast in 8F and now it looks like the afternoon is still going to be 25+ winds. Ugh. Can’t say I’m too excited especially after 2 poor sits over the weekend. Still missing bow season [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Used mine with the green belt to Donny mower blades even. Did great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
