  1. What a change. I’m swearing and getting a tan up in the tree tonight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Just had a nice buck that doesn’t realize it’s 2021 and consent is important. Chasing a doe and she was pissed! Blowing and shit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Screw that heated blind pussy bs. For gun, fine. I’ll be swinging from a tree in my loin cloth and recurve. Girly bow season starts tomorrow for all those who can’t hack it right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Man what a beautiful night Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Been on the road again this week. So tonight will be my first planned sit since Sunday morning!
  6. 2 of 3 yes. The 2 I found were maybe a few inches deep. I think broadheads still attached. One we didn't find, but a neighbor killed the buck during gun and showed us the broadhead buried in the shoulder completely healed over in a puss sack. They are resilient animals.
  7. Have tracked a few shoulder hit deer. They bleed well, I’ve seen bubbles and it’s pretty bright. All had survived. Sucks man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Flew into LI this morning for work. Back home tonight. The rut is on in 8F! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. over a mile and good decent blood are 2 sayings that don't quite fit... but good luck to him!
  10. I've had my challenges health wise over the years. Woods therapy has always been helpful for me. It doesn't matter what tool I'm bringing with me. But if like you said, you're ok in your head space maybe it's the challenge part that is getting you down. Not everyone is looking for the grind and challenge of archery. Hell, we've all been in the stand with the stick and string unable to punch an easy tag that would have worked with a gun. And maybe this is a down year for you and you take some time away to get your shit together. Don't force it, that will just lead to bad shots and experiences. Better to not be in the woods is my advice.
  11. All my cell cams popped all morning with some good buck activity. Also my target in my suburban backyard was destroyed overnight. It's on in 8f!
  12. cell cams woke up again. I have some little guys moving right now. Good luck everyone!
  13. Well technically we’re still in seek and chase. Not quite yet yet. But yeah I agree that the activity I had has slowed dramatically. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 3 doe moving just outta range. Can’t believe there’s not even a skipper in toe… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You’d think it was opening day with all the shooting I’m hearing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Man it poured here last night and into the morning… Good luck to anyone who made it out, hoping for maybe a break this afternoon for a sit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m nearing my 40’s… might be more interested in that sandwich. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I mean I don’t about extremely healthy, but yeah he looks like something I wouldn’t hesitate to eat haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. idk, I'm with Biz I think this is the guy whos ex-gf is making me sandwiches during the day and riding me bareback at night.
  20. i may be opinionated and there may be a few guys here that annoy me, but i'm not that guy.
  21. Honestly I'd be more worried about slipping, tripping or whatever while climbing down. It's not that 2 beers makes me tipsy but it does cause me to think less when I should be thinking and concentrating more. beers come after the deer is in the back of the truck for me.
  22. I know it's weird. If it helps explain my reasoning a little, the last 4 or 5 years have involved a few properties with other guys hunting it. I have no idea who is out there and again it just makes more sense to keep it to myself. I guess if it helps ease your mind, I was a happy man. i thought i did a pretty good job removing gender giveaways. Can women be bastards? haha me and the DEC are good. Remember one already came to my house this year to give me a tag for the roadkill. honestly the door was open all weekend, you could have easily have snuck a peak eh it's all good. If i really didn't want any grief i wouldn't have posted at all. dude that's f'n hilarious!
  23. I was still am a big fan of onx. However I relied a little too much on it dragging out my deer. I had marked some spots, including the deer that would be best to drag it out without too much rough stuff. Still hung the orange gutout glove (old habits die hard) and when I went back to drag the spot I marked was a good 30 yards off, which is kind of a big deal in thick nasty stuff.
