  1. Ever heard the saying "Hey you kids get off of my lawn"? Your era was no different from now aside from not having trail cameras pointed in every direction, trespassing has gone on since the first land was owned, doesn't make it right but it also doen't mean its the downfall of todays generation. And I don't see where you can gaurentee you have never stepped foot on land you didn't have permission on unknowingly even as a young Doc running the woods. "I would suggest that the first lesson to be taught to these kids regarding outdoor activities is to respect landowner's property rights" I think I already said that didn't I? Lets round up a posse and find this chubby safe kid with the helmet, he looks like he is in a hurry to steal some cookies or ice cream or something...little bastard! This country is going to hell in a hand basket thats for sure and its all because of them damn 12 year old tresspassers!!!
  2. So when you broke the law and trespassed it was ok but its not for these kids? ok got it. I read all of you preach about getting kids involved in the outdoors all of the time, did any of you stop to think maybe these two have an interest and just maybe it would be better to try and teach them instead of throwing them in the proverbial slammer? If it were me I would try to find out who they are and offer to mentor them and maybe take them hunting and teach them about the outdoors and posted signs. Life is to short to get all fired up over two kids exploring the woods, don't any of you remember being kids once?
  3. How dare those two young kids get off the couch and go outside for exercise! String them up!!!! None of you have ever done that as a kid I bet.

Here is a youtube vid of a lil kid making one of those impossible long range shots with a lil kid bow that is real slow, some one should tell him thats impossible.. If only these champs had faster bows...

I have no excuse, I just understand simple math..

Here is a link to an arrow ballistics calculator, http://peteward.com/ballistic.calc.htm I was wrong on one part, heavier arrows actually drop far less than lighter ones at long ranges.

Now what business do a couple of upstate hicks have discussing trig and physics? I better go back to being dumb...

Instead of trying to explain the math and physics here is a link http://www.kingsmountainarchers.org/tips/angle-shots.html

"In so far as a bow shooting from a tree stand at 30 yards... Well unless the deer is on the same level as your stand you are shooting down hill. When shooting downhill or at lets say 45deg angle your arrow has much less drop. So shooting a 30 yard shot from a tree stand at a 45deg" Do you have any idea how far up a tree you will have to be to make this true? "Point is when shooting down hill gravity takes less effect." Wrong, gravity is a constant in the equation.

We get it, you still don't understand accuracy vs forgiveness of equipment.

Or they will adjust the sight and still be a good shot.

Clearly you don't know wtf you are talking about. Speed has nothing to do with accuracy. You are arguing about arrow drop, who gives a poop about how much an arrow drops as long as it finds it mark. How many fps do you think Olympic archers shoot? I am pretty sure you are arguing for the sake of arguing here. If you want less arrow drop, shoot a lighter arrow. And when did it become hard to figure out you have to hold high or low if you are at an odd yardage? It surely ain't rockect science. Out of all of the things that have an influence on accuracy, how fast an arrow travels is not one of them.
  14. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/29453.html Goes until the end of Feb, you are thinking of the Preserve season which goes through March and usually is extended to mid April by the DEC, I don't know if they will this year or not.
  15. ooohhhh a threat...typical from a no brain like you.
  16. Have you ever said anything of importance?
  17. Yes I know you all don't care about what he says or does outside of his 2nd amendment talks. And that is what makes me sick. He is no idol. I have lost quite a bit respect for a few forum members as a result of this thread. Hey is it cool if a 30 year old meets a 17 year old and gets custody form her parents so he can be her husband?
  18. Busted how? By pointing out that the guy is a racist looser? you got me there genious.
  19. How about when Ted was quoted saying he uses the N-word because he hangs out with a bunch of N-words...was that not him or is that not racest. And of course he is not going to tell you he is a racest, that might be bad for business.
  20. "There's a lot of white people in this crowd -- I like that! (Dubuque) is a white town." Nugent also pointed out at least one audience member and questioned his race. Nugent's "pro-white" remark was applauded by the website of the white nationalist, "pro-White" The Political Cesspool radio program. Nugent actually appearedon the "pro-white" show in November 2008 The Nuge sounded off on Japanese-made guitars, referring to them as "Japs." When the hosts of the show objected to the use of the word, Nugent made sure to tell Denver that words such as "Jap" and "N%^$" were only words, man, and shouldn’t offend anyone. Apparently, Ted was shocked to find that people are offended by these words “My being there (South Africa) isn’t going to affect any political structure. Besides, apartheid isn’t that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal.” Detroit Free Press Magazine, July 15, 1990 watch the language on this one.
  21. Charging some one? again just we are clear here, I am not a lawyer. If I can find info that he is a racest I'm sure you can too...stop being lazy and look.
  22. Except for I'm not arguing a case in court..seriously burden of proof? Usually when a guy goes in an interveiw and repeatedly use's the N-word on a couple of different occasions that means he is a racest. I can see where that might not be clear to you.
