What were you doing in my neck of the woods?
-
Finally feeling better so I tried one of my hard to find beers. Fantastic and super smooth.
-
That was cool watching Peter cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail. He never knew you were there until it was too late. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't see much else and I'm not blaming wooly by any means. Check his post activity yourself. That was some of the most recent unless I missed something. C'mon back papabear
-
I read the duck banding post and Wooly was just joking around as he always does. You even "liked" his comments so using it as an excuse seems odd. There are always a few bad apples in the bunch so just ignore them.

My wife mowed Thursday, the only day it didn't rain this week. So for Mothers Day, my daughter and I are heading to Oneonta for a soccer tournament and leaving her home alone with my son. Thank god she is understanding.
-
Awesome. Great read and congrats to both of you.

$1600 buys alot of beer I guess. I know I don't have that kinda cash just for beer. Him and his wife stood in line for over 5 hours on a Wednesday to bring home their haul.
-
No kidding. My jaw was on the ground. He's a neighbor of mine and was having a garage sale. Said to stop in anytime if I'm looking for any beer from Vermont.
-
SCORE!!! Finally found a local source.
-
Could it possibly come up for sale?
-
Nobody had taco Thursday to celebrate Cinco de Mayo? I didn't either. Beef stir fry not worthy of pics.

3 years ago my buddy and I were sneaking through some thick pines to get to the field edge as a Tom was in the field and headed towards us. We belly crawled the last 20yds and got set up. The bird came in to about 30 to 35 yds. He let me shoot first as I have never shot a turkey before. I shot and the bird flinched. Then my buddy shot and rolled him. the bird got up and ran. We walked and walked and walked and never found him. I'm sure I missed. Hunted one more year and haven't in the last few. I've called a few in over the years but none within shooting range except the one I missed. Still birdless.

They look great. Nice work and congrats on two great deer.
-
A welcome back to the thread pic for ya

I hunted turkey for 6 or 7 years in a row and shot at one in all those years and missed. Not sure what I was doing wrong but I have much respect for all the successful hunters out there. I hate getting up early so I don't even buy my stamps any more. Good luck to everyone.

Had friends over so ordered pizza and wings. Washed down with a mixed 12 pack from Smuttynose brewery. Damn good beer! Pizza and wings were ok. TC we hit applebees last night after our first spring soccer game in Elmira. It was also karaoke night and I felt bad for the patrons who had to sit through seven 13 to 16 yr old girls singing "girls just wanna have fun".

So true it's a headache, and I'm not just kidding.

http://www.fishermanresource.com/bait/state/New-York/site/Cranberry-Lake/mileage/100/ Best info I could find.

Congrats. You are lucky as well. My 13yr old daughter will shoot, but not hunt, at least not yet. Ill keep asking though in hopes she will surprise me someday.

Grilled ham and cheese on wheat. Dinner on the run tonight.

You catch that in Nanticoke today? Looks like Ames rd.

Had poormans Philly cheese steaks. Bought some roast beef, sliced up an onion, and added provolone and Presto, dinner is served. Plated with crispy crowns and it was all smiles.
