    I have worn LaCrosse Boots for nearly twenty years, good arch support kept my feet warm and dry. With Burly type boots which are nearly knee high I use different socks for the different temperatures Carhartt regular boot sock and Arctic weight for the extra cold temps. I did try on a pair of Muck Boots I didn't like the way they slid on and off.

    This could make the rest of the year very difficult if this continues. Harvesting hay will be real difficult,with the ground so wet, especially to make dry square bales. the old saying a dry year can scare you to death, a wet year can starve you to death, hopefully won't apply.

    I have been around farming my whole life . The reason I would cultipac a field is to break the clump of soil, there are weed seeds in these clumps, so when Herbicide is applied it is more effective, later without cultipacing the clumps breakup and you have weeds growing. As far as what is growing in amatter of hours I can't tell you.

    I guess it is a good thing my seed corn is still in the bag , but hopefully by late tomorrow or tuesday I can start planting .

    corn is quite heat sensitive , generally the warmer the weather corn does better , as far as rain , we need it unless you have had so much the seed can rot in the ground , but usually it will come up one to two weeks after planting. it is always a good feeling when it comes good. it really hurts if it freezes off with seed prices in the two hundred dollar range. good luck !

    been shooting aluminum arrows since I started in '94 , thought about switching to carbon but never have . Currently shooting Easton 2114 uninock s with 1`00 grains field point and boadheads.
