Congrats on your first deer with your daughter. I have two little girls and I can't wait to take them hunting. Reading your post makes me what them to get older quicker so I can take them and enjoy the great sport of hunting. -
I shoot a Bow Tech Admiral with Beaman 340 carbon arrows with Rage broad heads. Love that bow.

I took a TOM on Sunday at 25 yards with the Rage 2 blade. He didn't go 10 feet. Nice big hole.

I hunted in 4O on Saturday and Sunday saw alot of activity. On Sunday I took a TOM at 25 yards nice 4 inch beard and 3/4 spurs. Two hours later 15 yards dropped a 85-95 pound doe right in her tracks. Was a good start to the season.

On Saturday had a nice six pointer under my stand but winded me a flew the coupe. On Sunday I harvested a TOM 25 yards away with the bow. Nice 4 inch beard ans 3/4 spur. Two hours later shot a 85-90 pound down dropped her in her tracks. Love those rage 2 blade broad heads. So far a good start to the season. Slugger nice bear. Make sure he wears his earring lol.

Well it seems we all have differnet opinions on this but, he made his chocie and it has to be respected. On the other hand I might have contacted the DEC or local PD department and they do have the power to put an animal out of its misery. A couple of guys on my job have in the past put animals down due to being struck by a car, train etc. I think that dec would have given you another tag if you advised them of the situation.

Went out today around 5 pm sat for an hour saw a nice 6 and 8 does. Unable to take a shot just to far. im going to try again tomorrow if the wife lets me.
