you see, my point exactly folks, gnarly old man who wont even be hunting in a few years, but will be happy sitting there in his diaper knowing he did everything he could to keep young people out of the sport.
-
this is the attitude that is hurting hunters in NY, this guy is an old man who really couldnt give a hoot about the future of our sport or getting kids into hunting. it's guys like this that will find every reason in HIS book to why giving up part of HIS hunting season will do nothing for youth hunting when in fact its been proven beyond a doubt that youth hunting opportunities are a great way to keep our numbers in NY strong now and for the future. he uses all kinds of fancy spin on why its a bad reason and really wont help our sport anyway all with a bunch of baseless theories he dreams up....

Think your taxes were bad this year?

dude where are you hearing this stuff, i would really like to know who is filling your head with this nonsense. there are some many ways to write off and deduct from earnings that fall into the capital gains tax catagory it isnt even funny. you have surely never made any profit from the sale of real estate or anything else and have no idea of what capital gains tax even is?????for those of you who really wanna listen and arent Fox news zombies the truth is between oil subsidies and ripping Americans off Big Oil pays little to no taxes. why is it when oil prices went up to 120 bucks a barrel last year and the price for a dollar of gas went to 3.50 to reflect that it never went down when oil dropped back down to 76.00 bucks a barrel????????? should i even get into tax payer paid oil and agriculture subsidies. check out GE, yea they paid zero % in taxes for the last several years all while sending American jobs to China, hey what about the banks and GM which we all bailed out and now is building more cars in china than in the USA, HUH. yea go right on feeling that big corporations are being picked on and treated unfairly, then have another few shots of Jack Daniels to help you believe it alittle more, hope you get a real warm fuzzy feeling when it costs you 300 bucks to fill up your pickup while big oil has been making record profits every quarter for the last 4 years....man this country has gone stupid! -
guinea hens tend to wander and do not stay around home base like chickens do. and they are noisey as hell, very comical in the way they carry on. the eggs are edible but small and hard to crack. they do eat ticks but they might be eating ticks in every other part of the county too. they can be kept in a coupe just like chickens but when they mature they might just roost in trees or wherever they end up at the end of the days travels. you might just be better off spraying..becsue getting chickens or guinea just to combat ticks might not be worth the work and expense, you really have to like that kinda thing. your dogs will be eating the poop and you will be stepping in it and my buddy just had to have his dogs treated for a parisit it got from eating chicken crap?

isnt that a fact, my property backs to a multi millionaires 160 acre horse farm and he pays about the same taxes that i do. he doesnt even live their and the place is worth about 2.5 million with stables, people and horse boarding, a house that looks like something from Beverly Hills...it pays to be rich... -
gotta hand it to that guy, and on a windy day...

if money isnt an issue, just buy the big more expensive blinds, they are all good and give you the room you need for bow hunting. the best part of a big blind is being able to sit back towards the back of the blind in shadows and not being seen at all.

i had it and it seems the harder you try and fight it or correct it the worse it gets. i stopped shooting for about 6 months and when i resumed it was like i never had it....its all in the head...

hey Bubbles, you talk about drinking coolaid, it sounds like your swillin vodka bro. the corporations in this country have been getting tax breaks for a long time and they even got bigger tax breaks when Bush was in office, so where are the jobs with all these tax breaks they have gotten for decades now?? and do you really, really believe the Rich and powerfull are going to allow our 20 thousand page tax code to be rewritten for a flat tax, yea take another shot of that Smirnoffs brother...and a family of 4 making 25k getting back 12k in taxes, have another there Bubbles, who the heck tells you this crap?????? -

the thing that they have to do is eliminate tax loopholes for corporations and the rich. yes they pay a high percentage tax on income and increasing that a couple percent only amounts to a certain amount of money. but the rich and big business have way too many ways of reducing the tax they pay with the trickery built into the tax laws for them, its to the point people with bucks in this country actually pay very little or no taxes whatsoever... sorry but i have a hard time extending pitty to billionaires and the very corporations that have sent the jobs of hard working Americans over to wherever...the only class warfare that i care about is the one thats gonna help hard working middle class American families. the very people in this country that are slowly but surely being stomped into the ground. the rich will be OK. -

you know it's scary to see what teachers and public service unions have grown into up here in the northeast. i really wonder if at the end of the day will Chris Christie be able to break these unions and make any differance for the NJ taxpayer? alot of Republican politicos are out on a stump making big promises about taking on the public service unions head on and i have been hearing these types of promises for decades now. but in the end teachers salaries and benifits keep going up, up, up, and my taxes keep going up, up, up??? and the teachers unions just become bigger and more powerfull?? will anyone ever be able to coral these wild and out of control teachers unions??? i see whats going on in Wisconsin with Scott Walker and say man this reform thing could take forever when following the channels of the political PROCESS? thats why i can thelp but thinking the only thing that will end this whole thing is a complete disaster. and im talking about teachers being told one day, your health insurance is no longer any good and you pension checks are now toilet paper. thats what i think its gotta come to, and with the attitudes im hearing from the teachers on this board man i cant wait!!! i never really had the opportunity to talk to many teachers on this subject, i guess they run in a differant social class, but after hearing what ive heard here man i just wanna see them get stomped and am looking foward to the day when private tax payers can remove this ever tightening noose from their necks!! and get these greedy slobs knocked back into reality!

teachers will just go on telling us just how important they are, and that any change in the system they feed from will just have disastrous consequences on our children and the sky will fall if they don't continue to receive their yearly salary increases and ever increasing benefits packages. but the day will come when the system will either become privatized and or the bottom falls out and teachers get paid a salary that fits into what the taxpayer can afford. yes it will be far less than they reap from todays system, and the taxpayer wont be forced to support them for a lifetime as is the case now. and in the end people will see the sky has not fallin and kids will still be able to get a good education.

in Orange and Ulster, nyseg and central hudson own tracks of land that have the so called high T's, short for high tension wires, the big mama's. but alot of the smaller grids or whatever the technical term for them is are leased on private property. the high T's are great places to hunt because of the over 200 foot swath of clearing mantained by the power companies. on some of them you can snipe deer at hundreds of yards.

taxes in NY have double in the last 8 years. when is it going to be enough? are we going to have to pay 20 thousand plus bucks a year to live in an average middle class home here in NY. Long Island is losing people by the 10s of thousands over the last several years and so is the state and its mostly young people who probable could afford to buy a house now that prices have dropped but choose to leave because paying 1000 plus bucks a month for taxes is out of the question!

your right, the politicians and teachers unions. that why its important to vote down these school budgets and thats why its important to vote in the right governors and so forth..if you read the news states like New Jersey are voting in politicians who are set on busting the teachers unions, yea thats right New Jersey, never thought i'de see the day. i dont agree with everything Chris Christie stands for but he is the teachers unions worst nightmare come to life..but by the way things are going in NY our Gov is promising changes and making deals that have no teeth(could you expect more from a Coumo) it looks like the system in NY will have to die a natural death, caused by an obese teachers union having a heart attack and falling on its face.just look at the numbers on the site that Woofer provided, its not hard to see that the system is unsustainable. like i said before you can spin this a hundred differant ways but the end result will be the same and that will be a complete collapse of NY's educational system. and its going to be caused by the very union that promises to represent educators. privatizing education is becoming a reality in other states and is being looked at in NY, i never thought handing eduction over to corporations was a good idea but now i really dont care anymore because of what education in NY has become...

i think these ads are aimed at todays tough kids who need real gross images to help steer them away from tobacco.

just go and hunt there, i doubt anyone will even bother you. i here of guys up here hunting nyseg property along power lines all the time. theres never anyone there, and calling them to get permission is a waste of time because there really isnt anyone with the authority or who wants the responsiblity of going on the record for giving hunters permission to hunt power company land....
-
this is just the way the teachers unions want us to think, aaahhh dont bother voting NO, you wont win anyhow!!! dont listen to this folks, every year more and more school budgets are being voted down in NY and budgets are being reduced and teachers are bing laid off....like i said, VOTE NO, if it comes up for a revote, then vote NO again. the reason alot of these budgets get voted thru on a second vote is the unions know only half the people who voted NO the first time wont show for the second vote..this is their game folks and they are very good at it!!
