  5. i didn't know they were that cheap. This idea kinda just came to me when it was looking at the gun
  6. I have a Mossberg 500 combo and I had an idea of taking the scope mounting bracket off of the Remington 770 .300 win mag that I won earlier this year and putting it on my 500 then taking the 4 power scope off of my cantilever barrel for my 500 and putting it on there. I don't plan on using my 770 anytime soon so I was curious as to what you all think. Or I was just going to buy tru glu sights for my 500
  7. Selling my flextone echo hd. Has 100 sounds on it. It's rechargeable had only been used a handful of time. Looking to upgrade to a foxpro Price is 100 or best offer. I can upload pics if anyone wants.
  8. you don't need the waders if you have a long enough net. My brother and I go and work in tandem one guy pushing the pole against the bottom and the other pulling it in with a rope. That's how we do it and it works for us most guys just dip themselves
  9. My buddies and I went shore fishing on lake Chautauqua last year after turkey hunting. We caught a couple. Had a hell of a time trying to clean them but ended up dusting them in seasoned flour and frying them in a cast iron skillet over the camp fire. Mighty tasty
  10. I don't target them but caught a couple last spring and they were mighty tasty
  11. Can you still buy a stripped lower receiver in ny? Technically it doesn't have any of the specifications of a "assault weapon"
  12. I feel like flextone calls never sound like they do in the videos you see. I have 4 flextone calls and would only recommend the grunt call I used. My brother bought me a flextone thunder gobble and it sounds like a train is coming. It's probably just me sucking with the call thou
  13. tins make pretty good wind chimes also. We have one made down at camp. (Sorry not trying to hijack your thread)
  14. I recommend hornady American white rounds unless you plan on shooting high grade ammo
  15. Just got back same as last year. I picked up a mountain hollow box call.
  16. Any been there yet this year?
  17. That's what I would have said
  18. Went with my buddy he purchased a new 535 from dicks sporting goods and before he was approved they asked him what he's using it for. He said killing animals. The lady gave him a look and said don't say that. I've never been ask what I'm going to use a gun for when buying one before
