    Know your target AND BEYOND!!!! Just cuz a guy is hunting in camo doesn’t give any bird hunter the right to pepper him with bird shot.     I found if you secure the bow holder to the bottom portion of the stand the two parts still seat together for easy transport. I actually like having the bow lower- somewhat out of the way until it’s go time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I also found that when carrying it in the woods like a backpack, I turn it upside down so the teeth that grab the tree are up above my shoulders. Too many times did I take a funky step and get “bit” by the teeth- now the cables are down- the teeth also make a nice place for my pack and jacket when walking in. I use an old golf bag strap as shoulder straps- helps with long jumps in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maybe we should discuss mosquitos now that the great doe/fawn debate has ceased!!! Personally I gently shoo them away as I would not want to end their family unit or cause emotion stress to its young by smooshing them on my skin! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Drove the Taconic State parkway from Columbia County to the Sprain brook parkway in Yonkers late afternoon/early evening and saw ZERO deer. Pretty sure that’s a sure sign of October lock up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Congrats! Check for a local North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA). They were quite helpful when raising my Brittany 13-14 years ago. My old dog has since retired living the life on the couch!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3-4 doe walking out of range this morning after legal light. They are NOT SUPPOSED TO COME FROM THERE!!! Never made them way to me- 8:00 had another doe slip in behind me munching the acorns. I need a little COOPERATION out of this critters! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
