It really doesn't take much. I hang my deer in a tree in my backyard. Lop off the quarters and straps and debone and portion on a cutting board in the kitchen. I do have an old fridge dedicated to hang meat if I want to age and the temp is not cooperating. I enjoy doing it and am pretty picky so it's worth it for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Woke at 4:45 to driving rain...back to bed. Back up at 6:00 and decided to give it a go. On the walk in I had a stare down with two doe who had to walk passed the tree I should have been in! Moved a little"lower" I I was planning to only have another doe pass by "my tree" as I was climbing about 75 yards away. Did have another doe skirt by at 40 or so but never gave me a chance. Doubt the truck would come, pick up, butcher, hang, wrap and return...who would begin think that an option....oh wait...Marion! I bet most would be happy with skinned, de-boned,portioned into "to be ground" vs steak cuts. I bet a "food truck" mentality could make that work. Post where you will be located (where you know there is a need-in 3S there is a big need especially with all the city hunters and very few butchers) on some social media and they still come to you. Well of course all this was too good to be true. I guess D3 schools don't quite entertain like D1s like his crew brother has been experiencing. Turns out we are meeting the coaches and players Sunday morning for a tour and conversations and that's about it. The only reason people pay full boat is if their kid can't get into the school they want them to attend (think legacy) or if the school they are attending is in high demand. Trust me, as a teacher about to have 3 in college, I can't afford 1 of the schools my 3 are looking at without scholarship, aid and loans. They also busted their asses and have a lot to offer (that's me bragging!) and picked schools with a purpose for them. What tacks is saying is exactly right which is why I describe tuition as "sticker price" - no one pays that for a car unless they are desperate or can and don't care!
