Wireless/Cell trail camera research/input needed
rebbie replied to J sin's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I have a few Spartan Wireless Trail cameras and I absolutely love them! I have been running wireless trail cameras since 2013. I started with the Covert Wireless cameras but I have since sold away my Covert cameras and use Spartan cameras only now. The Spartan cameras give you so much control using the app. They are just amazing! Having the option to request 10 second video clips is also a great feature. I haven’t used the Cuddeback Link cameras so I can’t comment on them but trust me you will love the latest 4G Wireless cameras from Spartan. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have the Exodus Lift I Camera. The new one is the Exodus Lift II. I got the camera early this year. I saw them at the Big Harrisburg Sportsman show in PA this past February. I had never heard of them before I saw them at the show. I must say that I do like the camera. The newer model has improved lenses I believe and faster trigger speed. I do like the 5 year warranty and the 50% theft replacement cost if stolen! That being said I just picked up the new 2017 Browning Strike Force HD Pro and I I would have to say the Browning takes better photos. I also love how small the new Browning camera is! You can't go wrong with the new Exodus Lift II camera. The Warranty was a selling point for me! I'll post a few photos from my Exodus Lift I Camera.

Wow! You are not kidding, that is a buck of a Lifetime with a bow in Orange County! Congratulations! I live and hunt in Orange County. Just curious what town you got him in? I just got permission to hunt a big piece of property in Montgomery this past year. I hope there are some nice ones running around there!

The hit was a little further back then he wanted, The bear was quartering to us. He hit the liver and then went through the stomach. Bear went about 125 yards or so.

Here is the link to the video. I am not a professional I just do this for fun unfortunately I did not get the kill good on video because it happened so fast and the angle that I was in the tree, I could not see the bear like my friend could when he shot. vimeo://video/105452369

I am the one that you are talking about. I filmed my friend shoot the bear. While we never put it on the scale the taxidermist estimated his live weight at approximately 225 pounds. It was a male estimated to be 3 plus years old. The taxidermist said that in another four weeks or so the bear would've put on about another 75 pounds. Believe it or not he measured the skull of this bear and it just missed being Pope & Young by three quarters of an inch I believe. This was the first time I had ever been on a bear hunt and I actually thought the bear was small, But after talking with the taxidermist and seening a few other bears that were brought in my friends bear was not as small as I thought. I will try to see if I can post a link here for the video.
