  1. Yeah it was sweet. Funny you say that, she traded it in for a 2022 Silverado Z71 RST, the heated seats and steering wheel don’t work because they don’t have the chips??? They said they should be available to install 2nd quarter 2022. It was almost a deal breaker for her, but she wanted room for more car seats with our new grandson coming in May. With so little to choose from it was silly not to grab it while it was available and there is no way she is driving a minivan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Oh no, Second guess all you like! I am no expert on anything, just my experience is all. I think that’s an original A Bolt though. Do a serial number search and find out for sure. Not that it matters any, I’m sure it will shoot better than most of are capable of. And when I said “cheaper” I meant less expensive only, there is nothing cheap about any of the Browning firearms. https://www.browning.com/support/date-your-firearm.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. To add to that, the only thing I can say for sure is that the muzzle brake gun is much louder. The X-bolts we have, and the other 2 that I have owned and sold, all shot better than one-inch groups with off-the-shelf ammo when we did our part. No practical experience with the A bolt, but they still make them in a cheaper version (AB3). They old ones are high quality, accurate and in demand, sounds like a good buy on your part.
  4. That's an A bolt, not an X bolt, the xbolt was introduced in 2008 I believe. I currently have 3 xbolts, two Medallions and 1 Hells Canyon in bronze cerakote with the muzzle brake.
  5. Selling my wife’s Pedal Commander PC31 Bluetooth throttle control module. Plug and play, if you’re running oversized tires you really do need one of these. It’s like driving a whole new vehicle. If you just want your Jeep to have the throttle response and quickness of a Ducati… you want one of these LOL! $200 TYD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. The Sahara they were on had a 2" lift. Did it need it? No, I don't believe so, but some trim levels may be different. Standard lugs will not work, lugs and center caps included. There's plenty of info out there on what will and won't fit on a stock Wrangler, here's one...
  8. As hunters we tend to assume that a large number of gun sales are for hunting, but I have to say I know far more gun owners than I do hunters. Personal protection firearms seem to be popular, not duck guns. My BIL has more guns than my local PD and would never even think of going hunting. I don’t know if numbers across the nation are growing or not, but I don’t see it anywhere I hunt. Opening day of gun was mostly quiet in my area for the third year in a row. I also heard from a friend that some of the state land near Buffalo was wide open most of the time this year, when only 10 years ago you couldn’t find a place to park. I agree that more and more hunters are buying and leasing land, that itself may change the perception of hunter numbers, I’m sure in some areas we have more and some less, but overall in NYS I have to believe the numbers are dropping. 9. My wife had these in her Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They are 3D MAXpider Kagu floor liners. If you aren't familiar with this brand, they are similar to WeatherTech, but IMO a nicer product. $75. I'm in the Buffalo area.
  10. My wife traded her Jeep Wrangler last week so I'm clearing out some of her accessories. These are 17x9 Black Rhino Sierra wheels with 35x12.5 Atturo MT's. Lug pattern is 5x5 and will fit Jeep JK/JL, Ram Classic trucks (not new body style) and others I'm sure. The tires are quiet, stable and handle surprisingly well on the highway. They were on her Jeep from May through September only. Tread is 95%, spare is 100%, not a mark on the wheels, these are honestly like new. The package was over $3k new. Selling for $2,000. I'm in the Buffalo area. Pics are not great I know, they are stacked in the garage, they are heavy, I am old and it's cold out there! I'll pull them out if someone is interested.
  11. Interesting article by Uncle Ted. https://www.deeranddeerhunting.com/content/blogs/dan-schmidt-deer-blog-whitetail-wisdom/american-hunters-its-time-to-call-out-the-liars-cheats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m sorry, I did not mean to sound as if I was coming at you. I am very fortunate to be able to hunt many many days every year, as you and many others are able to do. There was some mean spirited talking-down to those with “poor hunting skills” and “lack of commitment” to finding time to hunt somewhere in this thread and I was only trying to make the point that some just can’t do it or have other things that are more important at the time. I found that to be a poor argument against the new season is all. There really are hunters who don’t get any time off and this is an opportunity for them to get out maybe. The individual making fun of a guy who maybe couldn’t get out and will now have a chance is just wrong, if he shoots a deer on Dec 28th does it matter? Is it somehow different than shooting that same deer on Nov 3rd? My situation is irrelevant, I chose not to go out due to many factors and was sick when I was willing to go. Just couldn’t win this year. It’s ok, I had an awesome year last year and am honestly happy not to have the taxidermy bills! As I am typing this I am hearing that my 2 year old Granddaughter now has COVID. It’s spreading through the family quickly this week. There will be no Christmas celebrations this year and again…going hunting next week is not a priority for me. Thanks for not calling me out in the “Dick from Dickville” crack. It was a sad attempt at humor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That's great for you and many of us. Hell I had 9 weeks of time off this year and still couldn't get out in the woods. Sometimes other things in life are far more important. You have young kids I am guessing, as you get older life will throw you many different hard balls, in which to deal with, and put you in situations where you have to be there, with your kids, your parents, your spouse and your own health. Some will still choose deer hunting over those responsibilities, maybe an "executive" that goes by Dick who lives in Dickville will do just that, I don't know. You make it work, you choose to make it work, you are able to make it work. Some don't or can't. My only point was that there is no reason to mock those who don't or can't for whatever reason. It wasn't about what you can do.
  14. Wow. Sorry I started reading this thread.
  15. You're making a lot of assumptions. Many don't have private property or private herds to manage for that matter. For many of us this year has been a never ending wave of more work and more business to deal with – with reduced resources. For me, keeping up with work and ongoing family issues has cause me to miss all but a couple of days in the woods this year. For those with young families it can be a real challenge getting out on a weekend, a friend of mine has three kids all in sports and everything else you can imagine and he is lucky to get out for a morning hunt every other weekend. Maybe I'll go out next week, maybe not, but if I do, its not going to add one bit of additional stress on the herd, as was mentioned earlier, than if I went out to shoot squirrels or ride the ATV around for an hour, maybe on other properties it is different, I don't know. I think the new season is a good thing though, if one doesn't want to take advantage of it, then don't. Let the deer rest if they need it where you hunt, but there is no reason to belittle those who don't place killing a deer above all of life's other pastimes, passions or responsibilities, or mock those who aren't as fortunate when it comes to land access, herd quality, free time, hunting skill or anything else for that matter.
  16. @squirrelwhispererWhat insoles are you using? I have an ActionHeat vest and it's really great, they have socks, but they are steep...$160 for the newest technology. Perfect ask for a birthday gift.
  17. Thanks everyone. I am feeling OK, I can still work from home and can deal with the relatively mild symptoms. My wife got pretty sick overnight. We weren’t able to get tested yesterday so we came back this morning and we’re told to wait in our vehicle for up to 2 hours and they will get us in. It’s all so crazy, but there’s really nothing you can do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Ok, I just checked GB and it looks like you can get this new for $500 - $550 plus tax and shipping. So IDK, if someone is interested we’ll work it out, I’m not looking to get new gun prices for a used gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Probably post it for Buy Now @ $475 for gun only, or set a reserve and see what happens. It’ll go, I haven’t given that much thought yet. I have a couple of people who would like it but want to wait until after the holidays to make a decision. I’m in no hurry to move it so I’ll give it a little time and if no one scoops it up I’ll put it online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I agree with all and don’t mean to sound too negative. We are very blessed in many ways. It’s just been a lot to process today. My wife is already looking at a 6 bedroom log home she found for rent in PA for a January family trip. It will be a memorable Christmas for sure, and God willing we are all healthy when it’s over. Many have had, and do have it, much worse. I am a very positive and motivated person, (Dear lord I was almost crucified here for a “good things that came out of 2020” thread I started last December) and I know we will make the best of this and find ways to enjoy the time we have. Like I said, I guess I just felt the need to vent a little. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes. We will be quarantining. Along with boys and their families. Gonna be the worst Christmas ever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That’s interesting, I have boxes and boxes of them in the basement that are years old. They seem to work just fine. I never thought about them “expiring” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It looks like my wife and I will be spending Christmas and New Years alone this year, as well our boys, some friends and the boys’ in-laws. - Last Wednesday our youngest had a gender reveal party at our place, ITS A BOY!!! Yeah!!! - Saturday he was diagnosed with the COVID. Can’t make this crap up any more. Today my wife and I both became ill (not seriously), as well as my daughter in law, not the pregnant one. We are all getting tested tomorrow, but positive or not we will all be quarantined through the holidays. We were planning a trip to Pittsburgh to visit my family but two brothers in law tested positive yesterday. Crazy. My son and wife who are having the baby just closed on their first house last week and not only won’t they be together but now can’t even make the move before Christmas. What was going to be the best holiday season ever for our family is now a mess. We are all vaccinated, we are all responsible when out in public, and still it has hit us. My wife and I plan on cooking our traditional Christmas Eve and Day meals and somehow delivering to everyone, drop off gifts and face time with our Granddaughter. I just don’t know what to even think of all this BS anymore, but it all became real really fast for us. I was also hoping to get out for the new late season after missing all of bow and most of gun season with a multitude of illnesses. I guess that’s up in the air now too. As long as I’m. Not “sick, sick” I’ll quarantine in my truck and tree I guess. Anyway, I’m. Not really complaining, many have things much more difficult and painful to deal with, I guess I’m just venting a little, but I know I’m blessed in many ways and we will certainly find a way to laugh, share and have some fun over the holidays. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy and Merry Christmas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
