I've never been anything but happy with Hot Hands warmers, especially the larger ones and stick on ones. This year I used a heated vest and will never leave home without it on a cold day again. It worked great! I'm going to give these electric hand warmed a shot too. thanks for sharing.

I'm selling this very lightly used 9mm with two mags, and 4 different size grip modules. Back on track to the OP… Only 1/3???? Shockingly scary. Also, where are all of you Chefs employed? I’m quite familiar and personal family friends with the top 3 Chefs/ restaurant owners in Buffalo, and know a few more, so I’m curious. Do either of you have places on Hertel, Delaware, Lakeshore, cooking for the Bills players 3 or 4 nights a week? Let’s show some cred and maybe plug your establishments. I haven't been out since opening day, but trying to get out Friday for a Hail Mary hunt, I would love to see some horns for sure! Fingers crossed I will shoot a little better if I do. Opening day I missed a pretty decent 10 standing perfectly still at 130 yards...with a rifle...with a scope...twice. That's not easy to do!

I shot my best buck ever last year on December 8th, he was hot on a doe and she was very receptive to him. Have faith!

I'm no expert, but I think the rut is, was, right on schedule. I have only made it out hunting 3 times so far due to a multitude of reasons, each of those sits I only saw a few does. I did however make the trip to Cleveland many times over the last two months, I have to say, during the last week of October and the first week of November the buck "harvest" on Rt 90 was exceptional. On one of the trips my wife and I counted 31 dead bucks between Hamburg and the Cleveland area. Last week's trip we saw one. I'm convince that the bucks were chasing and seeking right when they were supposed to be. Maybe the warmer weather forced much of the rutting activity taking place at night? I have no idea. Everything just seems off this year. I'm planning on getting out tomorrow or Friday for one last bow hunt and then hitting it pretty hard for gun, I'm off next week and, all of the family stuff is taken care of so I am finally excited about getting out there. I pulled my last camera during my 3rd sit, it stopped working in early October, but I got plenty of videos of 5 different shootable bucks and this beauty has me stoked for rifle season to begin!! check out the YouTube link... I'm letting them walk. We have some nice bucks in the area and the chase seems to be on. I'll wait until late season if at all. Off subject, sort of, on my drive to Cleveland Saturday morning we counted 21 road kill deer between Hamburg and the 271 split in Cleveland. ALL but one of them bucks, I would say they are chasing.

Once again life got in the way of this weekends hunting plans. I managed to get out Friday morning, plenty of does and spikes, but nothing I wanted to shoot. Ended up heading to Cleveland with my wife to help out with my FIL who is recovering from a series of strokes. Looking forward to getting out next weekend. Man I used to love hunting alone when I was young. I moved to NY in my early 20s and, did so for years… then a wife, kids and Many years later my boys became old enough to hunt. many years of hunting with them changed everything. They were the absolute best hunting days and years of my life. Now they are married, having babies and buying homes, and working too much. This year my youngest didn’t even buy a license. He has a brand new rifle and bow he bought earlier this year, neither have been shot and won’t be this year, he’s just too busy. New house and Baby on the way!!!! For the first time since 2002 I will be hunting alone. As sad as it is for me, I couldn’t be happier or more proud that my boys are building amazing lives for themselves. This is part of why I haven’t been motivate to hunt this year, but I’m thinking that’s all going to change tomorrow morning! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree with this to a degree, but I believe weather Trumps everything with deer hunting. I may be wrong, i am much of the time. tonight in Chautauqua county there will be t-storms and clouds all night. No lazy, brightly lit fields for deer to relax and feed in. I’m betting on cold temps and clearing skies to bring them out of cover to feed in The AM. Then again, I honestly don’t care if I sit for 4 hours and look at trees, I’m just ready for some tree-time and a break from work. It has been a VERY busy year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We have a shift in movement in our area as well. I am attributing it to the poor acorn crop on the property this year., normally the place is covered in nuts, nothing this year. I moved the cameras. closer to known bedding areas and travel routes to a neighbors food plot. Bingo.

Yes. I went through a box of 300 CCI "semi auto" .22 in my Henry lever action a couple of weeks ago.

I'm finally starting to slow down enough that I'm getting excited about heading out in the woods. I just scheduled off Fridays for the rest of the year, the 2nd week and 4th week in November and the last week of December. I still have 4 weeks of time I'll never be able to use so I'm sure I'll burn a couple more days here and there.

I have the full set and love it. Zip up jacket is much better than the pull over in my opinion and with the vest under it I’m good for all but the coldest temps, then I switch to the MT050 gear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
