Score has never meant that much to me, mostly because I haven’t shot many big deer. After shooting my bow buck this fall and misidentifying it as a bigger buck with nearly identical antler shape, I roughly measure it before taking it to the taxi. 118 if I remember correctly, he’s a beauty and a trophy to me regardless of the score. I never got around to measuring my gun buck before I took him in, but am now looking forward to getting scored. Just curious, nothing more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AMMO, I'd buy ammo! Then I would buy my very own politician. That seems to be the best way to turn a lot of money into a WHOLE LOT of money.

I am curious, What kind of small game are you hunting that requires a lease? Is this place exceptional for grouse, rabbits or turkey?

The “do I need written permission” is a flag to me. Is it a real lease or someone offering property for cash with no contract? I was in a lease once that was very casual, nothing formal, it did not end well for us. Get everything in writing. What you are permitted to do, when you are permitted to do it and who else can be in the property, and when. Get specifics, beyond what you think are needed. IN WRITING. Well you’re right of course, but It’s not necessarily the money, I personally and honestly never thought I wouldn’t be able to buy the common ammo calibers. Foolish on my part. When the lockdown hit I bought what I could find, but it was too late. I have 500 or so in each of the calibers I shoot, (other than 38 for my wife) but suddenly feel like I am WAY understocked! I personally am not panicking, but I’ll drop whatever here and there for a box or two to keep growing the stockpile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I’m sure, I called there yesterday, they guy told me he was getting some in today and to be there when they opened. I drove the 45 minutes and was 3rd in line to get in. I was shocked to see they were charging internet prices, kinda slimy I thought. I won’t be going back there. I did pick up a few boxes, but only because I figured I drove all this way I may as well. GB is out of control. I can’t believe what some people are spending on guns and ammo. My guess it is mostly people who suddenly think they “need”a gun. I am having a really hard time finding 38 special for my wife, I keep looking there and people are asking $2.50 a round in some cases! No pistol ammo at WM, they still sell hunting ammo. Some of them anyway. $40 a box for 9mm is nuts, but I also said I wouldn’t pay $20 for it a while back. Now??? Gladly. I’m curious, what would you think is the most you would pay these days for a box of plain old 9mm range ammo ? Not a loaded question, I’m just curious what we all think is reasonable right now. I took a ride out to DD's Ranch this morning. $40 a box for FMJ 9mm. They had quite a pretty good selection of calibers, including hunting ammo. Prices on hunting ammo wasn't bad, 30-06 was about 20% higher than "The before time"

I just talked to a person at a gun shop in Chautauqua Co. She told me the only ammo they are able to find is at estate sales. I do not know what the deal with ammo and estate sales is, but someone here may be able to take advantage of that info...
