  1. Yep that time of year, a modified old fashion with orange juice, cherry with juice and no sugar. Bourbon added. Will get to the real stuff in Oct. Been ready all summer for this. Hunting season is in the air!!
  2. Tropical Florence is raining on us now here in TN. so a Hazy Thing is in order. Have the kids and Grand kids here from Wilmington, NC waiting out the storm. They'll be here until the power is back on and the Gov, gives the OK to return. Probably will have to go over and help clean up. A few brews will be in order before I throw something on the grill tonight. Cheers!!

  4. Gerber folder, 20 yrs and going. Still use my Buck combo from the mid.70,s on occasion.
  5. Penne with Italian sausage, onions, green peppers and mushrooms in red sauce. Garlic bread and a Cab.
  6. Stopped by the Pint and had a Black Abby IPA it was ok.
  7. It appears to be but I never seen it. Maybe he traded or sold it for his Win or Marlin. Sure would of liked to have been willed it.
  8. Come across a couple of old hunting pics of my Grandfather and Great Grandfather. From genealogy guessing about 1910. In center GGF, Levi , RT GF SRL Left dont know. 2nd pic GR SOL and friend.
  9. Nice looking meat!! I used pints and added a bit of salt, garlic and a beef bouillon cube. After it's cooked then I add what ever preferred for the meal. Oh so good. Enjoy

  14. 43 year anniversary dinner at the deck in the woods. A simple dinner for us to enjoy before all the hoopla starts. Some times its just nice to enjoy each other before the kids want to do " something special". Dinner tonight was a medium rare Fillet with baked potato with cheese and bacon , mixed veges and a finish of Merlot. A nice quiet dinner. Cheers!
