Went out last evening and set a blind for youth gun due to the predicted forecast of rain, sat the last two hours and saw nothing.

Mornings are enjoyable right now, evenings ill pass, big front coming fri night

First sighting was not a deer. 20 yards

Been a long busy summer with the kids, Just finally checked stands this week! No time to mess around with cams. MY first year going in blind and I'm excited. Haven't been on all year so ill add this, got my first turkey this spring ( a jake double with a friend).

7s/7p, doe numbers are through the roof where i hunt, coyote slightly down, bobcats everywhere now. Id bet my doe ratio is 3 or 4 to 1 buck.

Peroxide finish. Volume 40, brush on. My pressure washer is only 1800psi. I feel like 2200 would be ideal.

I do about 10 in the house a year, dish soap and power laundry booster they don't even smell.

Haven't been on here much lately between kids and work. Also limited my hunting time quite a bit. Last Friday I shot a nice PA doe. last evening I shot a Doe in NY at 3pm in the snow. Ended up with 6 doe and a small buck this season (between both states). I don't generally hunt late seasons, but if the weather is perfect, i have buck tags for NY and PA late season.

very nice, give it a coat or two of mop n glo, will give a very light sheen on it and seal up the bone.

My buddy owns a deli in down so im gonna slice it afterhours and re sterilize the equipment after. its gonna take a few months i guess.

decline in shots, and hunters. Too many does. on way home last night they were already herded up in multiple fields their was clusters of 15-20 doe together.

Been seeing deer every sit, Dad shot another doe a couple days ago, I shot a doe in PA Friday. Rear legs being made into prosciutto by a friend. Wil be out this evening also.

Took fam out today, I saw button, 4pt, 2 doe and of course they saw nothing. They woulda shot any with a youth hunter who hasn’t gotten one.

Got the next 5 days off, gonna go out in the AM, signing my last doe tag over to a fam member coming into town.

I've got 3 doe and a 4 pt between NY/pa. dad got a doe, son got a doe, nephew a spike. Seeing deer every sit just being patient. Don't need anymore meat. Will donate my buck if I see on I like. still have pa buck tag too.

4 pt and 6 doe last evening, no where near each other. all feeding. going back out wed evening

Life has been crazy these last two weeks, shot a 4 point last morning of crossbow, standing on my tree sticks while taking my stand down. Told my self if he didn't come within 20 I wasn't shooting, he came to 10... Wind gets the assist on that one cause I never saw him till he was 50 yards away and my crossbow was on the ground. Sat am, dad and I went out, I saw a small buck and passed, dad had 2 doe coming up field but a small one under him that busted him, he shot a big doe across field ( I can see them where I'm at) They jumped up 20 yards and I put a follow up shot into her from 216 yards, she was dead 20 yards off field edge with 2 holes, His was 1 lung and lived, mine took out the rest of the lungs.

11 deer tonight, spike, doe only in range, big buck bugging does at last light.

went out yesterday evening, 2 pm 4 pt chased a doe and button under me grunting , 3 pm spike chased 4 doe by, saw 3 other doe.
