Yeah man, when I sit in my stand I can hear crumelbow shots.... We are in the woods behind PD the new one.... In Wingdale I'm in Westchester modular complex off of old 22...

For me it's the meat first, I have no issues taking a doe as a first deer of the season, after that I will wait and let them walk and wait for Mr.Buck.... It is basically the first deer doesn't get a pass the next ones do...

I'm in Wingdale so this is cool..... When it gets cold I hunt small game on public land in Amenia and Fayetteville... And still I have my club in Hyde Park. I'm thinking this year to set up a bait piles and get there after dark for coons, foxes, coyotes, whatever.... And there is always 909 at night which I think it is a cool spot, it gets quiet at that time of the year... Let me know what you think and I will PM you...

Fellows, I wasn't talking about bullets (like the guy in the video) it was all about slugs..., that's much more power and shorter distances. I'm talking .62 cal slug at 50 yards, I would not take any shots in the brush over 75 yards. This is not a rifle gripe, this is shotgun country.... I tried and it worked for me, so I will do it again, your mileage may vary... Dave, I don't know if it hit anything during the flight, all I know I shot through the twigs and I hit the target, was I lucky ...? maybe, I just reported what happened... I got two deer like that, so maybe there is something to this story... just saying....

You got played ItalianHunter, this is an old urban legend, I bet you a dollar you will see them plenty after the season is over... They are nocturnal now and will come out after the pressure is over.... Just like every year. During the hunting season I see 2-3 a day with maybe one shot opportunity (which I took) but in January they will be all over the place.... Relax there are no lions here..... :-)

Go for it, I was two out of three last year, this year lost one in bow season, doe during gun season but I think the MZ season will be the hottest....
