    I broke the streak!!! Doe down finally have meat to put in the freezer. Wierd recovery though. I will explain in the after the shot post.

    Wind is swirly. Not as cold as i thought. Just need the deer to cooperate!

    Nothing seen today. Might drink enough today so I can see some deer.

    So I make it out for an afternoon hunt. walking in a jump a deer. Looking right in the sun can't see anything. Drop to the ground get behind my climber for shade relief and boom buck walking over the property line!!!!!!!!! He stops 20-30 yards in and is just eating. No care in the world. He just ate is way out of my dreams!!!! Hopefully he circles back around! At least I saw a deer.

    Like Rob said if they don't exist you can't hunt them. I would say food sources first but if a saddle draw or bench includes the food source or is in-between food and nap time hunt them.

    I made it out of the woods. No sharks seen, no coyotes seen, no bear seen, no deer seen!!! Tomorrow will be the day!

    I knicked my knuckle on the way in. You would think I cut my finger off the way it is bleeding. Pretty sick of the wind today too.

    Saw my owl again. He came into 40-50 yards sat for a second and swooped down to get something. Never saw him fly off. On to the afternoon nap in the treestand.

    All day sit today. Saw one owl and the crows were on it like white on rice!!! Crazy loud. First shot was 620 this morning. On to tomorrow!

    Nothing seen but snow and a red squirrel! I did have an owl do a flyby they always amaze me on how silent they fly through the woods!!!
