    I keep telling myself, lots of season left, but man when you are putting in all day sits to see one deer. It gets to be a mind game. Last 2 years the movement through the property has slowed way down.

    Trying to get motivated to go out this afternoon. Tough not seeing anything other than a tail 80 yards away. Everything can change quickly though. Got to happen sometime.

    First morning the temp is actually warmer than the weather report. Says 25deg and i have 26 on my thermometer. Saw a button buck yesterday for 8.5 hours in the stand. Could all change in second though. Good luck today guys and gals. Let's make meat!!

    What fun would it be to see deer every day? Who am I kidding, it would be amazing!!!

    Spooked a coyote out on my way out at 1200 back in the stand. I was staring at my gun stand all morning and was saying to myself "man that really sticks out. So I came in from another direction and I am skylighted bad. Now I have to move the stand. Got a tree picked out but have to do some clearing. Just got to find the right day to do it.

    7" is alot of penatration. If you have a shoulder mount on your wall take a ruler and see how far in it would go. I would think the shoulder probably deflected the shot. Its so tough to see what is exactly happening at the shot. There's alot going on in split seconds. I hope you find him this morning. Or see him again.

    I have seen where they stop bleeding the last 50 to 100 yards. Like a death run. Better to be safe though.

    Button buck came in while I was getting in mt stand! Wouldn't leave. Saw a deer at least.

    I took a drive around covered alot of fields and properties. Not one deer seen!! It has to pop soon!
