I keep mine outside under a covered porch. They get washed in borax and baking soda a couple times. Then I will sent spray them. I never spray just before I go out I always have them sprayed and then give them time to dry. They just stay outside all the time out of the sun.

One doe a mile away. Then on the walk out i spooked two deer. I stopped and blew my nose as hard as i could. (snot rocket style). I walked another 100 feet and could hear them moving in the brush. I blew my nose again and they started walking towards me they stopped about 15 feet away. They were in the brush but I couldn't see them. The one deer started soft grunts. This went on for 5 minutes or so neither one of us wanting to move but I know they were trying to figure me out. I took 2 steps and they bounded twice deeper into the brush. I just slipped past as quite as i could. Couldn't tell if it was a buck or not but a cool experience non the less. Now they just need to show themselves during the day!!

I got the kuiu guide jacket on sale for 130 about a year ago. Didn't think I would like it due to it being a trim fit jacket. I love the thing it fits awsome over a couple layers and never binds in the elbows or armpits. Quality made. Just have watch for the sales though.

Hopefully that attracts frankin deer.

Change it up and look in places that don't make sense. Last year I was having the same problem. Then I looked hard at places I never think to look and boom thats where the deer were. Dont give up only gets better from here on out.

Back in. Now the deer just need to cooperate!

Had to come out for parent teacher conference I swear they do it on purpose!!!! Out of the stand and back in less than an hour. I debated just doing it in the treestand but i figured that was a bad idea!!

2 doe and 1 small buck. Heard some grunting off in the distance in the afternoon but nothing came of it. Today was dark to dark.

Man I need to get a book for these all day sits!! More food too. Getting hungry and still have alot of time left!!

going to be windy day in the stand today. Its a whipping outside. Lets hope the deer are up and moving with the wind. Only saw two deer this weekend.

I can the cowboy candy when we get a good crop of Jalapeños. They are delicious on just about everything. Next time you are having a get together chop some up and pour some over some cream cheese and spread on some crackers!!! Bet you can't just have one!

Weather man jipped me out of a good hunting day. I am in now and hoping all the clear coat from the woodshop is off my hands!! Maybe it will be the magic deer scent.

I had a picture in early spring but nothing since. I did hear of one raiding bird feeders over by the town tavern though. I would love a rug. Plus they are good eating.
