    I sat 5 hours in the stand this morning and had a real fat spike come in at about 15 feet from me I watched him for a good half hour. Wind was really whipping around. Can’t hunt this afternoon I have to get the kids from school.

    Just had a small doe come in with a 4pt chasing

    So an eventful morning. I hear something moving down below me in the gully and I hear my cousin shoot. He was sitting up above the other side of the gully. He shot a coyote. We tracked it for over a mile had pools of blood and the trail led us to the beaver pond. No more blood no coyote. All of a sudden a monster buck stands up he was bedded 10 yards off of the blood trail we were following. Get back to the cabin and a lone doe standing right in the driveway. Back in another stand now listening to the bills getting there ass beat. Hope that monster finds his way over

    Sat all day and didn’t see anything but a hawk. Last night while driving I seen 2 different groups the first was 3 and 2nd ground of 5 bucks all together. Kind of weird this late in the season don’t you think?

    New set up I made today . I finally get to get out tomorrow. Don’t think I’ll sleep tonight feeling like my kids on Christmas Eve!

    I’m not a biologist but I think it’s way too late for bucks to still have velvet . I’ve have a buddy that actually shot what he thought was a buck in late November rocking velvet but it was actually a doe . I’m going to say you seen a doe with head gear.

    I just found a bottle of proper 12 Irish whiskey (Connor mcgregor’s). I’m trying real hard to not open it. I’m hoping first buck will get the honor of opening it. Had anyone tried proper 12 yet?

    I haven’t been able to catch any football games due to crazy work schedule so this weekend when I’m finally able to hunt i decided to buy a small pocket am/fm radio to listen to the game. Anyone ever do it?

    I tried dog when stationed in Korea truthfully it wasn’t bad at all. But like bionic said after a bit or two you realize what your eating. A guilt kind of set in being the dog lover I am. But hey I’ll try anything once!

    Had to drive from buffalo to Erie today I couldn’t believe the carnage on the road. I thought for sure there would be some pictures of harvested deer today. Stay strong boys and girls. Your posts are all I have till next weekend!
