    Had to drive from buffalo to Erie today I couldn’t believe the carnage on the road. I thought for sure there would be some pictures of harvested deer today. Stay strong boys and girls. Your posts are all I have till next weekend!

    Buck bombs are on sale at dicks for $5 a can. I have a feeling the woods are going to be electric that weekend. I can’t wait work has been so crazy I haven’t been able to go out at all. Told the boss I can’t work that weekend or the following 5 weekends after that!

    When work allows I watch my bills get beat. I’m a baseball umpire and I don’t watch as many games as I use to I’m around the sport to much to really care anymore. NBA is trash in my opinion. Nhl ehhh. But I do love and follow lacrosse. NLL is where the real action is. I don’t understand why the sport isn’t more popular. You have guys literally smacking each other around with sticks.

    Good luck in the woods today boys . I seen lots of deer this morning on the 90 heading from buffalo to Erie. They seem to be on the move. This is Day 26 in a row working boss said this is the last weekend we will be working hopefully I can finally get out next weekend.

    I’ve used peroxide before and the skull became brittle. Hope I doesn’t happen to you.

    I finished chopping wood Friday and changed batteries in cams. I still have a stand or two to put up but I start Monday on a 21 day in a row work schedule out of town so hopefully before crossbow opens I’ll be all set.

    That looks like a salute to service hat. You can only buy those hats for a limited time in November. Try googling buffalo bills salute to service and see what pops up a there should be a site or two with inventory left.

    I go every year to Colorado for elk and mule deer. I usually hunt between 9 and 11k feet. Altitude does not really bother me. Of course I’m a non smoker I don’t know if you are. One thing that is a must is visine. The air is so dry at those elevations. Are you being guided? If so I’m sure these guides will put in a lot of windshield time trying to locate elk for you. So not much hiking up and down . I also would recommend finding somewhere to start practicing 300- 400 yard shots.

    And the wonderful peaceful citizens of that town will probably flip cop cars to protest because the police officer shot to many rounds at these criminals. Then the 7th grade pictures of the suspects looking like “good boys” should be hitting the media outlets by the weekend!

    So at work yesterday I opened up the door to a stairwell to go from the 2nd fl to the 1st and I thought someone had put some garbage behind the door next thing I know this guy is climbing my leg. I shook him off as I rolled down about 20 stairs. I wish someone seen the roll it was Hollywood type stuff. Bruised my back and sprained the left knee in the fall. All good hopefully back and knee will be better in a week so my Colorado hiking trip isn’t a bust.

    Hey thanks everyone. It was a quite birthday I had to umpire a baseball tournament and had cake with my 2 boys after. 37 came quick but I still feel 25!
