While having only seen 1 bear in my young 33 years of age. I checked my trail cam last week and having never seen an evidence of a bear at my cabin in the 26 years my dad has owned it to our surprise there was a bear on it 30 yards from the front door. While driving down rt 241 in catt country today doing some Amish shopping there in the middle of a field was a big black bear. Thats 2 in my lifetime glad my son was there with my to witness the bear who knows how long it'll be till he sees one again!!

I just purchased the Excalibur Marix 310 two days ago. What an awesome weapon. After shooting my cousins Axiom I thought that was going to be the one i purchased but i was driving by S & S Taxidermy in springville and they have a big selection of crossbows i decided to stop and test shot the 310 and fell in love with it. Cant wait till November 1st !!!!

easy..... opening day gun 2000! I was 18 shot my first buck! The sun just came up the fog burned off I hear a snap from behind a down tree and a big spike walked 15 yards broad side. I put my 50. Cal blackpowder round ball right through his heart. he ran 30 yards dropped and I watched the death kick. All full if adrenaline I ran over to my old mans tree stand told him I got one he said cool go back sit there and wait for a doe....lol.... 4 hours later he came with my 2 uncles as they watched me gut it and when I finished gutting my uncle from Colorado threw my his rope and said have fun dragging..... crossbows are the most primitive form of weaponry. why there not legal is boggling. the amount of money this state will make of extra bow tags and sales tax money from the sale of crossbows and new hunting gear is astronomical. but then again tax money will probably just go to worthless welfare scum that out number us working class law abiding citizens. I'm a traditional guy anyways I would love it also give us a week before regular season while your at it . Most states have muzzleloading before regular season anyway. The only down fall is finding blackpowder in this liberal state. I had to go to pennslyvania for it.

Also had a promos truth cam and it was crap. It worked great for a month and stopped working. After reading reviews on line it was a common problem. Cheap Chinese Crap.

I had a plate and seven screws put in my knee do to a bike accident and a broken tibial plateau. Anyone ever been handicapped and hunt? I already had to cancel my Colorado elk hunt and am dieing to get in the woods. I am definitely going to my cabin this weekend to give it a try. Guess it's time to crutch up or shut up.....lol

Obviously it's a hunters choice on what we harvest. IMO no buck should be killed unless it's a 6 or better there are plenty of does to be killed . So let the bucks grow.
