  1. Both cabins look great. Well job done by all. Happy hunting from your new locations.
  2. Yes great decision on putting him on the list. Daytime movement gets you pumped even more.
  3. Looks like he has a split main beam. That would look great on the wall.
  4. That is a dandy. Best of luck getting in front of him.
  5. That is one impressive looking buck.
  6. Sorry that you weren't there but hey you were probably the first person he called. Congrats to you and your son.
  7. Yes I shoot 2.5 and younger. Just like a majority of the other reply won't shoot a little doe. I will wait for a mature doe to take. I get the enjoyment out of harvesting any legal buck no matter what type of headgear he has.
  8. Tell her that maybe she should start off hunting with a shotgun or rifle first and after she able to pull back the bow and shoot well with it she will be able to start archery hunting with you.
  9. Welcome. Lots of knowledge on this forum and always ready to read some more hunting stories.
  10. Congrats and great story. I plan on taking my boys out for squirrels this winter.
  11. Congrats to you and your cousin. No deer is to small to post. Every deer is a trophy.
  12. Congrats on your deer. I am sure your little girl will probably tell everybody she knows what happened. She will never forget that moment.
  13. The gun is cleaned but I have to take it to the range yet and make sure nothing moved since last year. I am more ready to get a vacation from work though.
  14. My uncle shot a deer a few years back that was hit by a car. Her front leg was folded up and he stated that after he shot her he had no idea that she was only going on 3 legs. He said that she walked just fine.
  15. My two biggest deer a nice 8 pt and a huge doe both took 2 hits before they would die. The buck I hit right behind the front shoulder and he took off running and the second shot dropped him in his tracks. The doe was almost the exact same thing. I hit her my first shot and she walked all the way across the field. On my fourth shot (missed her twice) she dropped. Just amazing at what they can tolerate.
  16. Welcome aboard. Alot of knowledge on this forum.
  17. That is a nice looking 6 pt. He even posed nicely for the camera.
  18. That was a great deal. I don't own a model 7 Remington but I have a couple Remington weapons and Remington makes a great gun.
  19. Welcome. If you have any questions at all this is the place to ask. There is alot of knowledge on this forum.
