Looked for some snows today and didn’t find any. So headed to the range to put some rounds through my NULA. I really need to shake the dust off. Looks like I will have some time for this in the coming months. I also tried out a bunch of reloads my hunting buddy loaded up for me. A few Long overdue pictures for @Lawdwaz.

Another slowwwww day. Saw one small flock. Either main thrust already went through or not here yet. Strange year. I’m thinking my last weekend though.

Symptoms from a source in China. This is a translated document and differs from cdc. Not sure who’s right. Some comments are mine. Sorry about Celsius. Day 1 to day 3 - beginning cold/flu symptoms, no fever not tired day 4 - throat some pain, some aches and pains, voice getting coarse, eating somewhat affected. (Not sure how) mild headache, mild stomach ache, runs, start of Hershey squirts- this must be where people are getting the concept of hoarding toilet paper. Day 5 - throat worse, voice more coarse, fever starting up to 36.7 C. , weakness, joint pain, day 6 - fever 37c coughing up mucus or dry cough, pain eat, swallow or speaking, (guessing due to throat pain) , general sickness, tired, begin of difficult breathing, finger pain, increased Hershey squirts, vomit. day 7 - higher fever 37.437.8 C , increase in cough, headache, worse Hershey squirts, worse vomiting. Day 8 - fever above 38c, more difficult breathing, heavy chest, continue of cough headaches joint and arm pain, day 9 - all symptoms getting worse. More difficult breathing. Time for lung X-ray. (I wouldn’t be waiting until this. I’d see doc at like day 6) -

Is there room for two at the hunting ny table?? -
Headed out early this morning And found a flock in a gigantic corn field. Unfortunately posted posted posted and posted some more. Not able to get out. I saw something today I don’t often see. The birds were very high when they decided to land and in order to drop altitude quickly they do something like Flip on their side. It’s quite a scene to watch. I have a video of it but apparently can’t post here?? Anyone know how to attach let me know. Attached is still shot that didn’t capture the move.

Biz you recall I couldn’t make the west Chester GTG? I had a bad ass respiratory illness. Don’t recall ever being laid up like that... I’ve somewhat wondered if that could have been corona, if it’s been around. Prayers for @crappyice and family. -

We have people load testing the remote access systems. Work from home for one person per team started this week with the promise of "Seeing how it goes and re-evaluating in a few months". My turn next week. Happily coincides with snow goose season. I'm heading for hunting camp... -

You may want to re-read that. He is not saying most wont get it. A new medicine needs to go through a very thorough process to get FDA approval. The process is not over night and also not always successful. Its a very very tedious process and monitored heavily by FDA. I fear that any vaccine that comes out quickly will not have gone through the normal FDA process and COULD cause issues. -

With a few exceptions Biz.. Elderly and pre-existing health issue I think are higher risk than with normal Flu. I hope not, but its sounding and looking like it. -
7J/H . You usually see them down on LI? Seems they should be there.

Yes... Lots around. The field we were in was huge field and covered with snows. When they got up, it was an amazing sound. Its time to get out!!

Got out this past weekend. Lots of snows around camp. I took the next gen hunters on their first successful goose hunt. We ended up getting some pass shooting. Fun was had by all. Back at it next weekend..

Did anyone happen to listen to sirrusxm show about corona? This is not quyite an exact link but should be close: https://blog.siriusxm.com/doctor-radio-nyu-langone-health-launch-24-7-public-service-channel-hotline-for-coronavirus/ The one doctor on there mirrored what Biz has been saying almost exactly and close to what I have been saying. Essentially the virus has been here, its not that bad, he cant understand what all the fuss is about. The other doctor on the show mostly disagreed with him. Interesting show I thought. Passed the time on the way back from hunting camp. @Elmo : very interesting about your family being sick. It does seem plausible, since JFK had direct nonstop flights to wuhan. Not a stretch to think some passengers had it.. -

Logic: Infected numbers are grossly under reported. Logic: Nearly all (if not all) serious cases are reported Science: 100K reported cases, deaths are roughly 3K and OF REPORTED CASES death toll is 2-3 % or there about. Logic: That number will be lower, due to the number of unreported cases. -

I hadnt heard people thinking its a hoax. The only "hoax" I hear is Chinese news sources saying the virus really was started in the US and came to china from here. People actually believe this, since its from professionals... -

I need to post a correction. I had said NY is creating its own test kit. Not correct. NY is taking CDC test kits and testing in house at a lab in Albany. -

I was wondering if we should have practice virus drills at work. We have fire drills, disaster drills. Why not virus drill? When the alarm goes off, we could all run around and switch cubes... -

Where I work you get paid for sick leave when you retire, something like 1:3 . 1 day pay for every three sick days. A recent retiree "hurt his back" for 6 months and was out. He ran out of sick leave then retired. -

I disagree with Biz in that I think its coming and will cause issues due to fear, panic. As far as the illness itself, I think that will be much less awful than media is making out. Still going to have sick people running around, I think.
