    Weather is looking outstanding for Sunday. Dead calm, mid 40s up to mid 60s. Contemplating taking a tent and just sleeping up there Saturday night, wife and kids are out of town all weekend.

    If my property was more accessible and closer in the winter months, absolutely. Maybe once the kids are a little older. Most Jan through March it's snowshoe only.

    For comparison, that's a really big pellet count difference. Tweaked it down a smidge after that TSS round. I found some 3.5" #5 XX and used those to tweak it up at 20 so if I hold halfway up the neck the head just disappears, then walked it out. The XX pattern was useless past 30 though. Toying with the idea of getting a box or 2 of the federal TSS 8,10 combo.

    I think I was 16? I think this was with buckshot out of the old full choke on the Mossberg 500, she was circling the flock of 100 sheep my grandfather kept.

    Alot of pellets on target at 50. I tweaked the sight up a couple clicks after that. I'd love to get my hands on another box of 3.5" #5 longbeard XRs.

    Shoots the 3" #4 ok at 40. I have 2 rounds of 3 1/2 #5 left. 8 rounds of the federal tungsten 3 1/2", which shoots very nice. I'll take a shot with it at 20, and 50 after I strip and clean her!

    Just finished dialing in the new optics. Stoeger m3500 turkey with a Leupold Deltapoint pro, on a sumtoy custom mount. Kicks Gobbling Thunder choke.

    Anyone have any idea how this should attach? Came with the new Stoeger but I can't figure out how it's supposed to hook on to the front mount! You can see the other end is a standard rifle sling attachment. Both mounts are exactly the same, standard sling mounts.

    Attack are lighter and quieter, if you decide to give them another go. Going a size up is the right move with them. Feels like their pants are designed for toothpick legs if you go to size.
