  1. Flower Power a great IPA. Love me a great Ithaca beer straight from the source after a good 13 mile hike of Robert H Tremen and Buttermilk Falls with my daughter as we do annually Pulled pork BBQ pizza as well. I've had a few one offs of Flower Power too : one with vanilla and one with topaz. Great beer all around
  2. Also listening in. I'm taking daughter to Boston St Patrick's day weekend for an international ballet competition Would love to take her out for a great steak
  3. Was off today so I snow blowed most of my neighbors. Figured it would be nice for them to come home to a clean driveway. This just delivered.
  4. Nothing wrong with moderation. I enjoy a good beer a few times a week. I could definitely cut down on my Tim Hortons iced coffee to shed a few pounds though.
  5. Four driveways snow blown. One shoveled Time for some coffee
  6. you missed -12 degrees and the 7" or so that fell last night and this morning with more on the way. Don't think you're getting any pity from us. Just sayin And Dom, good job figuring out the picture thing
  7. Just put it on. Hollywood Vampires on. Alice Cooper , Johnny Depp and guy from G n R. Interesting mix. Alice hasn't changed in forever. Is that Joe Perry from Aerosmith too ?
  8. shes responding:Domestic cats and dogs are just as susceptible to E. Coli and salmonella as we are. Not only can they get these diseases, but can also shed the bacteria, being a source of infection to humans. Handling the food alone can be another source of infection to humans. Many people think that since animals in the wild eat raw, so should our pets. But our pets are so far removed from their wild ancestors.
  9. Mine appears to be stamped in a different spot.
  10. Fish tacos. Tilapia , jicama slaw , siracha mayo with a sprinkle of cheese. Backlava for dessert
  11. . I let the wife read this and she strongly disagrees.
  12. None of this Ol' Roy that is
  13. Mrs. S is a vet. Pedigree is what she suggests. Science diet, Purrina, Iams all good too. No raw diet . Taking chance at dog getting salmonella. Grain free foods not a dealyou need to worry about with dogs either.
  14. Zem, you put together a nice mix 6
  15. Awesome !!! Guessing you've had that call for many a years too ? Heard a story of he and his brother setting a "flock" of decoys in a field one foggy morning. They left .came back and couldn't ever find them again. Something to that effect.
  16. Dang, that's it. George I do believe. Thanks for the correction. You know of them I assume ?
  17. nobody's post up one of these yet
  18. I've always been leary of using these. I'm 5-10" and 200 pounds. All bundled up for an all day hunt with clunky boots climbing gets me a bit nervous that I'll fall and gut myself My friends have a few climb on stands that are accessible with climbing pegs, nope not for me.
  19. Helpful hint: cut the steaks into strips when they are still semi frozen. I use a store bought jerky mix and add some other things such as soy sauce, chili powder, crushed red pepper etc. Never used a dehydrator I have a couple of jerky racks. Oven to 200 with door ajar. It takes anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. As you go you take out the thinner pieces as they get done working your way up to the larger. Taste testing along the way is a must.
  20. I have one I've had for 35 years. Pretty sure it was one of the first type to get used in the wild. A Zelinski made it. It's a V8 or such type of can with brown tree bark type of camo. He's since passed but heard he was a tremendous turkey hunter. I carry it in my vest but it hasn't really fired up too many birds. Even the crow call is hit and miss. With miss most of the time. Rob , perfect description of how to use it.
  21. A balmy 2 in Lancaster. Looks like some possible decent snow Monday night thru Tuesday night
  22. Tropical Belgian IPA. Interestingly good
