  1. Why limit yourself, so you personally draw the line at no rests? XBOWS are fine but using a rest is too much? I down use a rest either but from a stand I can generally get pretty damn steady with my elbows on my knee or my elbow against a tree, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Not a single person I know follows those stupid regulations. I was at a bow show last week and not one NY legal Xbow in the shop when I asked he said because I can’t give them away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Bullshit! Maybe the Old Xbows but not anymore. New bows are balanced much nicer and are much narrower with very minimal limb movement during the shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. By the dates I figured it was pretty obvious I was referring to SZ, the ADK’s is in the NZ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I would be all for full inclusion as long as us trad guys got the woods to ourselves from the 10th of November until gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’ve never used one for hunting but I can see where it’s a big advantage for bow hunting out west where longer shots are taken. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yup, just like when muzzleloader was shoved down our throat as a short ranged weapon, remember scopes weren’t allowed then… Verts have hit a wall, not much more they can do other than quieter and easier to shoot. Speeds haven’t increased in years, sights haven’t gotten better, rests haven’t changed, arrow technology changed in the last 20yrs making them lighter but now people are going back to heavier arrows anyways so that’s a wash. Name one gain that has happened with very bows that have made them a quantifiably more lethal weapon in the last 20yrs? Now if you said 40yrs it’s a differ story but that solidifies my argument that vert bows have hit a wall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Depends, if comparing the muzzleloaders from when early muzzleloader was first started in the NZ 25ish years ago. I would take a modern crossbow over that sidelock any day of the week! Out to my personal limit of 60-65yds with a crossbow my limit on my iron sighted side lock was 75yds my crossbow is way more accurate and it’s going to shoot EVERY TIME. 20 yrs from now where will Xbow technology be? 9. I’ve read this twice and have no clue what you’re saying! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I’m against full inclusion but the second someone uses the term crossgun I quit reading, it makes you sound like a complete idiot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. No, it indicates that he has commons sense! I don’t support a lot of things that I support the freedoms for… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. You turkey hunt with a rifle? It’s your friends property so you can do what you want! Coming from a kid that could ride on any neighbors property I wanted excluding hay fields it was a hell of a way to grow up. I’ve done everything I can to make the same situation for my daughter and the neighbors kids. A side benefit is I make trails that go under all my tree stands and I never have to worry about leaf blowing my trails because the wheeler traffic takes care of that. To me you sound like you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth “it’s your decisions so none of our opinions matter” but when you say he’s worried about liability and say you’re worried about safety but then say you won’t see anything as long as it’s not during hunting season seems contradictory to me. 13. Than why your Oct1 date? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You’re worried about shooting them with a bow? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. They’re great if you don’t like blood trails or expansion. You’ll get 2 holes tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Let the kid ride! There’s way worse things a kid can be doing these days! Riding four wheelers if done regularly doesn’t change a deers habits one bit! My daughter and a few neighbor kids ride our property daily and it doesn’t affect our hunting at all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m as loose as could possibly be! If doesn’t affect me I don’t care what anyone does. It’s not your job or the governments to tell anyone what to do with their life. Conservatives are hypocrites by design. Freedom isn’t a line it’s a circle! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I disagree gunshots don’t t bother deer people do. I love hunting with crossbows but I don’t support full inclusion, I love the way the seasons are now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I really don’t think you know enough about Xbows to make a statement like that. I bought my first Xbow in 2006 because they were legal in NC and it was something new. I wanted the best one they had and it was a screaming 330fps and sounded like a bomb going off and vibrated so bad it was tough to hold onto. It would shoot a 3” group at 30yds on its best day. 15years later there is a bow shooting 500fps and many over 450fps and shooting sub 1”group at 50yds. With zero vibration and really aren’t that loud comparatively. My max range with my old Horton was 35yds. My max range with my raven is 60. So it’s not crazy to think in another 15yrs it will double or more again… It’s laughed about now but I’m betting in 15yrs a 100yd crossbow shot will be something no one bats an eye at. 20. They said the same thing when they made the last week of archery muzzleloader in NZ, 25yrs ago 100yds was a long shot with a front stuffer. Now a muzzleloader is a single shot rifle with basically a limitless range. Around here a lot of deer die on opening weekend of muzzleloader! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. A prime example of why I hate hypocritical conservatives! I not only support abortion but I think there should be government mandated abortions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. He obviously already supports it! He didn’t vote for trump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Where in any of what I said did it say they recommended I not get it? Your reading comprehension is lacking my man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Fixed it for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I’m far from an anti vaxxer, I actually tell my mom daily that she should be vaccinated! She’s in her 60’s smokes and is obese. She’s had Corona once but came through it fine and refuses to get vaccinated. I think she’s crazy but it’s up to her. I have spoken to both of my primary doctors, one at the VA and the other my regular doctor. Neither of them are/were vaccinated. My primary has his own practice, is very healthy in his late fifties. He said no way will he ever get it and told me it’s up to me but I’m at zero risk of dying from Corona. My VA doctor is also in good shape prior navy guy in his mid 40’s that is leaving/left the VA due to their vaccine requirement. He agreed with my other doctor that I was at zero risk but it was up to me. I’ll follow the info given to me by two physicians that I have a great relationship with and have known one of them my entire life over some ass clown with a degree and a political/financial agenda.
