    10/18 pm 46 Down in the inner hole stand for 2 hours. Made too much noise on way in clearing downed limbs. Did not see or hear a thing tonight.

    Not the quietest entry. Had a bunch of downed branches blocking my trail in. I’m in the lower Hole stand for the first time this year. Then the boss calls..... I think I’m all quiet and settled in now. Maybe there is a big old deaf deer around lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Jay, I keep looking at that deer and he is huge. Probably 7years old and the rack is 130" it is just his 360 pound body that makes it look small. JK I'm an ass lol!

    He is one FAT deer!! Rack looks spindly in comparison. The growth probably a tumor or fatty mass. That's a lot of steaks!!

    I played sports and still try to lol. I watch my kids high school and college teams, my sister is a college coach so I watch her team. I do love SU basketball and catch most games. I'll watch the Yankees but usually while I'm doing something else it's on in the background. And I still like NFL the Eagles even though a lot of high paid athletes are turning out to be quite a bunch of douche bags I still like the sport and the game. I am also a big fan of women's beach volleyball!

    I see no issue as long as it is not gut shot. Always try to cool the animal down as best as possible but a couple hours is not going to hurt it.

    10/17 am 48 Out behind the house in the far stand. I had deer around me 5 minutes after I was set up. Had one come by on one side of me and he grunted so a buck but so dark I could not see a thing. Also had one off the other side of me walking. Just after sunrise I had a 3 point cruise by out front. He offered a 34 yard shot in one lane before moseying on. I got out at 9:15 and was busy clearing sticks from the trail that the high wind had blown down on the way in and walked into a deer in the woodlot. I was making noise and not looking for deer. Looked like a good sized doe. Probably not out again until tomorrow afternoon.

    Way to go guys! I pulled the plug at 9:15 to go to work. None to soon as it started raining and then hailing out!

    Had a young 3 point, I think, offer up a nice 34 yard shot. He needs to bring his gramps by! That wind the other night made a mess of my trail as well as took a tree down off my left that may skew the deer cutting through there. We will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    10/16 am 40 Hunted the outer Hole stand for two hours. It blew25 all night so I figured the deer would be moving this morn with the wind down. Has a fisher go through early and that was it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Just did some fun shooting with it. Did not really get the time to figure out the best rounds and all that. We put quite a few threw it and it seems like it will be a real shooter. We both enjoyed shooting it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
