Not my favorite from New Belgium but Happy Friday!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm a Muddy fan myself. I do not like the vest styles. I would suggest you get one with the quick clips for the leg loops. The just pull type ones you need to step into which is more of a pain. All 5 of us use Muddy harnesses and have no complaints.
  4. I’m hoping the same! Good luck to you as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well bow season is coming on fast!! Been shooting the bow for months now. Don't really need much in the line of gear. I am waiting on a new ML to get shipped, my boy "borrowed" my old favorite. So hoping to get that and do some shooting this weekend. We have a ML hunt to NC the first weekend of Oct. to get ready for. I did get a ladder stand in on some public land this past weekend. Still need to clear some trails. I am a bit behind as I have been training for the Adirondack Ragnar which is in 10 days so once/if I survive that I can focus on hunting. The trail cams have been pretty disappointing out back. Lots of does, fawns and little bucks but none of the big boys we had last year.
  6. Key words...….. THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Except lose the "part of". Too many people think their way is the only way and we all need to do it their way! I got a center finger for those people!!
  7. TF I know you love that minus 10 degrees, 25 mph wind and snowing to beat all hell weather to gun hunt in. You may hate a nice 45 degree morning with the falling fall leaves with a rainbow full of colors, the activity in the fall woods as all the habitants hustle to prepare for the coming deep freeze, and for a couple weeks anyway deer acting naturally before they get scared poopless and actually move during the day a lot. It is not near as rewarding as shoveling a path to your stand through 3 feet of snow or trying to gut a deer before it freezes solid...… I think your gonna like it!!

  10. Interesting these chickens had a firmer texture that was just like chicken. The last ones I had were soft just like a sautéed fresh store mushroom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Thanks I was referring to a ladder or hang on. I remember limits on how early it can go in and late to take out and tagging. I can’t find that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Can I get an assist on the laws for putting a ladder or hang on up on state land for hunting. I can't seem to locate it.

  21. Not cheap for sure lol.. I buy a pack every couple years or so. I've shot 2-3-4 deer with one head. Just sharpen or replace bent blades. The only way I go through many broadheads is passing through and hitting a rock or losing the arrow completely. And now I use lighted nocks so that is rare. I also shoot $50-$60 a dozen arrows and shoot quarter size groups all day long. I've learned to only shoot an arrow or two per spot so I don't ruin shafts.
  22. I've had no problem with any of my smokers. I did have to install a needle valve on the propane to have a finer adjustment on lower smoke temps but that's it.
  23. It all matters about you. I have a propane and an electric. I have also done the charcoal/wood offset. The last two require a LOT more attention. You need to monitor the fluctuations the temp can take and some require fresh "smoke" wood more often. It is cool if you don't mind pulling an all nighter or waking up every 2-3-4 hours to check on stuff. A good thermometer with remote can aid in this if it works good. You can get a wakeup if temp is off. For pure ease of use electric all the way. You set the temp and it handles keeping it there. One other item to note though is electrics can run small. Some can be hard to fit a whole rack of ribs lengthwise without cutting, forget about a whole 14 pound brisket! If you are envisioning doing hind quarters of deer, a pig or half pig, lots of full racks or full briskets keep in mind the inside room as the tower style electrics are small inside. A big offset would be a better choice.
