10/17 am 32 Beautiful cold morning. Out in the far stand out back. Had deer running behind me, then I heard one blow and saw them head down the creak bottom. Looked like 3 flats. Walked into what I think was a button heading out and we had a 25 yard stare down before he took off. Brother say a 4 and an 8 on his ridge stand above the Hole. Sat 3.5 hours. 10/17 pm 58 Down in the inner Hole stand for 2 hours and it was dead out. I did jump one on way out.

I was talking about the ones who never were even tested and died. If it had anything to do with respiratory or pulmonary it was listed under Covid. And don’t tell me that was not happening especially when if it was listed as Covid they new free funding was coming. This was highly reported in the beginning. I think/hope since it is not as bad. And no I don’t trust the news. And scientists, well you can put 10 in a room and be lucky to have half agree on anything. I’m not saying it’s not bad and not real. 32 and frosty here. Pheasant hunters and duck hunters have let off 599 plus rounds already in the distance. Thank heavens I remembered and did not hit my corn set on the island. Had 3 way behind me catch my wind I think. Got blown at and saw flashes of them running towards the house. It’s a hard topic everyone has there own feel. While I totally agree this is overblown, the death counts are way off. Anyone who died of just about anything related is a listed under Covid. And a ton of people have or will get this and have no effect. But on the other hand there are reports of kids and younger folks having weird after effects and issues so I do not know how true but I can say we don’t know what long term results could be. I am responsible for hundreds of employees and I have to be a stickler as there are not only moral responsibilities but legal ramifications. So there is no slacking at work. Home life, I am not worried for me but have elderly parents. My mom has copd amongst other issues. I would never want to compromise her. But she says her life is so sad right now not getting to hug her grandkids, see her friends......... so you start questioning do you relax and live a bit for a year and die or live 2 alone in hiding and die? Which is better? I am pretty careful around anyone I don’t know. Amongst friends and family we get together and are pretty lax. We all protect ourselves outside of our group pretty well. Sorry so long and disjointed but I have college kids, employees, elderly compromised parents and friends and family who teach and work in hospital so it’s stuff we regularly discuss. I feel if your close enough to hunt with guns together you should be able to talk about it and see if you feel comfortable or not. Do you that is all that counts in the end. 10/16 pm 48 Just a quick 1 hour sit off the back lawn stand. Doubled my season deer sighting quick. That's not too impressive as my total was only 4 lol! Had two lil ones come out 40-50 yards then get all hinky then I see a third and deer running and a weak grunt. Had one lil doe 40 yards for 15 minutes as a small buck chased the other around and then the doe popped across my left trail and the buck chase the other into the thick to my right towards the lawn. So the was a doe who I only saw quick once and two runts and the small buck looked like a 4-5 point. Fun quick sit. My anticipation for the last two weeks waiting for the perfect day to sit my island set just went to crap as I remembered tomorrow is pheasant opener. I sat there last year accidently on opener and it was a zoo, shooting like a war, yelling, dogs all over, whistles blowing and no deer. Now what to do......

I’ve been a few times. Heck I manage plants in Long Island City and Brooklyn and I avoid going there like the plague. Too many peeps, too much noise. I’d be in jail for beating taxi drivers senseless for their non stop horn blowing if I had to stay there. Like it’s gonna fkin make anyone move. Phade makes a good point. The market may get real F'd up in a few weeks. I was planning to move a lot of stuff to safer sectors for a bit end of Oct.

Boston Beer Stock is up 150% YTD....... On the oil side I just picked up some Royal Dutch as I feel they have been battered to a low that has a lot of upside. I feel most of the others are not low enough in the current oil trends to be of value at this point. I would agree with your investor that on the growth side for the sector would be slow at best. There are always a diamond in the rough or two.

10/15 am 58 Hunted the outer Hole stand for 1.5 hours. Warm and boring. Cut out a bit early just not feeling it. I am not used to the early mornings yet and a very slow start.
