11/24 am 55-46 Sat in the far stand out back for 4 hours. I went in 30 minutes later than normal as it was raining. I shoulda waited another hour. After that the rain stopped the temp started falling and the deer were moving. I first had a 1.5 yo 5 pointer browse by. Offered a 20 yard broadside more than once. 45 minutes later had a nice 2.5 yo 6 point come in behind me and offered me a 12 yard shot. I was at full draw and seriously thought about smoking him. I just think I will get a chance at a better buck so he got a pass. 45 minutes later I see a couple deer running back and forth way out in the pines. Could not tell what they were. Then five minutes later had a spike come in to my left. Best day so far this year. Fun Fun Fun Put up a new deluxe ladder stand just a few ago. Now headed back out to another property.

11/23 am 58 Sat 2 hours in the outer Hole stand and it was dead. Was 65 when I left. Hit 80 degrees went fishing.

Ima sit another half hour if I see more deer then another hour lol that’s the plan not getting down until I go an hour and half with no sightings! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve gone to first light for my late season set. Man it is nice! Also have a kiln wool hoody that I love. Mid weight I have hand down Sitka which is excellent too. My light early set is Core4 which after 6+ years is wearing out. I’m going to more First Light. I was gonna try Kiui but my bro got a set and says his First Light are better. Well I snuck in during grey light and was up by 7:05. Shoulda stayed in bed for another hour or two. Lol rained for an hour finally just stopped. I coulda been here 1.5 hours later and been dry. After first watch took out the bass boat. Prob shoulda hit the river for smallies but went to see if we could stir up some larges on the lake. We tried a bunch of stuff but it was tough. Water was 55 degrees and bass pretty sluggish. I caught one nice 17” on a crank bait and the boy got one just under legal and that ended the boat season for us. That is indeed a nice up and comer. Is he 3.5 you think? Here I am pretty sure he would die but realize on your turf he should grow a year or two more!

Ok in the interest of art I would get a can of brown and green spray-paint and give it some patterns. The deer don't care but come on have some pride man lol!! Just harassing ya!! You will love those crappy weather days in there!

10/22 am 47 Far stand sat for 2 hours. Nice morning. A lot of leaves have come down and opened up the view. Sprinkled on and off. No bueno!

10/21 pm 67 Field edge for last 1.5 hours. Saw one button buck shortly after getting in. That was the highlight.
