Up in the far stand. Lotta leaves have fallen sense I sat here last week. 47 out and calm. Excitement so far watching a chipmunk chase two black squirrels around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Are those 10 guys in the group that don’t fill out harvest reports? But otherwise the numbers don’t support your assumption..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Snuck into the edge stand for the last 1.5 hours. Freshened the scent wick on the mock scrape. This wind is a bit hinky, I’m not loving that. Had to pause for a button to go by about 60 out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I need one that alerts my cell phone. I am not worried when I am home but when I am away. I have a wet sensor in the basement for water that alerts my phone.

10/19 pm 52 Sat for the last hour in the field edge stand. Had two beautiful foxes come by. Worth the sit alone, and good thing cause that was it lol. I have not been hunting too hard early this year. Had a bunch of Doc appts for knee and just not motivated to get up that early every morning as the first two weeks are usually not the best for my spots. I'll set up for an after work sit tonight and then after this little warm up start hitting it hard as the bucks start getting amped up. I have not wintered the Bass boat yet and was waiting for one last warm day and that may be Friday up into the mid 70's if not too windy or wet I may take a day off and get the boy out.

This is a great thread! I get hot when I lose a store bought arrow. I would have a melt down if I lost one of those lol!!

Then you should have no issue dropping a deer. I stay 100 yards or less with lead nosed 30-30 and 35 rounds. The polymer tips shoot a lot more accurate for longer distances but if you shoot them aim for shoulder bone as they will zip through a deer with little damage if they don't hit something solid.

Are you shooting lead noses or polymer tips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was just in Old Forge last week. Always deer all over. A lot of folks don’t honor the feeding ban there. Cool to see all the tame deer though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

10/18 am Sat for 2 hours in the field edge stand out back. Big 0. Did some maintenance on the lanes in that stand later that I neglected pre season. Put in a mock scrape as well and a cam. Pm Hit the island for a two hour sit. The weather said zero percent chance of rain but I got wet the last half hour. I think the deer were still shell shocked from pheasant/ duck openers. No sightings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like the old man sent a deer your way as “Thanks” and a “Take care of my daughter” Sorry for your loss and nice harvest! Sorry Eddie if this is the non comment thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got a stand I neglected on the home prop cleared out better and set a mock scrape. It’s a close after work sneak in sit. I was gonna pop up a new ladder stand but ran outa time. I’m now up in my island stand behind the corn. Which is now cut. I hope 65009 shots by pheasant and duck hunters the last 2 days don’t have the deer in a bunker! There’s hardly a soul here now though. Good time to pop a slob!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I don’t use anything but scent free soap, shampoo and deodorant for 3 months straight. I have to shower in the am so morning hunts yup. Afternoons if I feel stunk up somehow and I can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shoot a small one! A whole deer in sticks prolly cost you $600 lol My favorite so far is the Blueberry Breakfast Sausage and Reuben Sausages. I’d drive the hour just for the blueberry! The other couple things were good but I’ll try a couple new items this year if lucky enough to shoot some deerz! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
